Why our school is called « Louis Guingot » ? Louis GUINGOT

Louis Guingot lived from 1864 till 1948, painter and interior designer.
In 1979, the County Council decided to give our school the name of a local artist, MrLouis Guingot.
Mr Guingot was the owner of a propriety on the school grounds.He is also famous for inventing the camouflage print.This inovative creation saved lots of soldiers lives during the Great War!
