WELCOME LETTER

This year the 17th congress of the Lebanese Society of General Practice will be held for the first time in the absence of our beloved President Dr. Abdo George Frem. This leaves great sorrow in the heart but at the same time gives us determination and intention to continue the work done by the late President and to build on what he has accomplished. It is a challenging time to our Society because the responsibilities are great and the work to be done is enormous. The 17th Annual Congress of Hot Topics in General Practice is intended to be really “HOT” with the content of the academic program for the primary care physicians with topics related directly to the practice to promote and improve the ability to be up-to-date in order to offer the best primary care in daily practice.

Your participation will add value to the congress and encourage us to continue our job in organizing and promoting academic medical meetings. This will add to your experience and upgrade your knowledge with all the updates. Dr. Abdo Frem, your vision and guidance will lead and shadow all the activities of the Lebanese Society of General Practice for longtime to come.
