UMF Student Jordan
Plog CompletesInternship at FRC
I would like to thank everyone who hascontributed to my experience as anintern student at the UMF FRC, fromthe pleasant patrons to the sensationalstaff. I would especially like to thankAlison Thayer and Mike Colella for theirguidance and friendship, as well astheir patience and knowledge. I havelearned much during my time here, butthe greatest gift has been a sense ofbelonging, both to the community andthe profession. Additionally, I have hadthe opportunity to contribute to theFRC, from teaching PHE classes, tomarketing, to improving orientationand machine use protocols (be on thelookout for FRC 101!), to becoming anemployed personal trainer in the veryfacility I was mentored in.
As I continue my education over thenext few years, as well as my ownbusiness as a personal trainer, I willalways remember the FRC as my firstreal gym, my first hands-onexperience, and an importantfoundational piece of my life. So again, thank you to all who have supportedme, and best wishes to those I haveyet to meet.
