If only a beautiful sunflower would grow inside my heart and fill it with bright yellow light that I would radiate out to that man in the BART station who struggled through every step, and to all others who need help warmth and love and healing Judy Geller from NOSC’s Writing Group shares her poems with us. They convey a sense of lazy days of summer when there is time to stop, contemplate, enjoy the sun and bounty of fresh produce maybe f from your own garden! NOSC members Ellen Levin and Eleanor Compton invite you to join their popular group when it resumes on August 11th. On right: Our Wednesday Mandela Marketplace kicked off summer with a super “Produce Party” complete with recipes and delicious samples.
