PREFACE

Prayer is defined in Dictionary.com as A devout petition to GOD, or S piritual communion with GOD, or an object of

Worship, as in Supplication, Thanksgiving, Adoration orConfession. So we can determine from this that Pra ying is thesingle most important tool, which we have to use tocommunicate our issues or circumstances to our AwesomeGOD.

Additionally, once we are arduously working towards

developing our Koinonia or Personal Relationship withGOD, we will need to confront the evil enemy as he threads onour territories. The serpent hates it when we are pursuingHoliness, so he does whatever he has to, in his own deceitfulway, and his limited power to undermine our efforts. Theenemy of our Soul, takes personal pride in relentlessly attackingthose who seek GODs Holiness, on all fronts of their physical,

emotional, spiritual, and financial lives. His modus operandi iswhy waste precious resources on those he already has in bondage? So he engages the Spiritual Salmons, perseveringwith a no holds barred attitude, as we struggle to go upstreamagainst the downward current of worldly living.

The father of all lies, plays on our strongholds, our emotionalweaknesses, and the insecurities we experience when facedwith troubled situations to discourage us from using the onemeans we have to effect the required solutions to our problems.Ironically, we all know this, but yet we still fall prey (no punintended) to this wicked lie from the pits of hell

As a new believer, I was very exuberant about my new foundFaith, and I didnt even realize, that my Prayer life also beganto subconsciously and subliminally fall away when I needed itmost. However, I was introduced to three powerful little Prayer

injection to my Prayer Life. This was when I discovered thePower of the written Prayer to those who are in such a weakstate that Praying becomes a burden.

This Understanding also intensified, when I began writing dailynuggets online, because if I missed a day, my inbox was floodedwith nervous concerns from my friends, both saved andunsaved, who became dependent on these daily inspirationalmessages. The more I wrote, is the more GOD increased myUnderstanding of what He wants to say to His People throughme. I am now a slave to write what GOD wants to say.

These two Prayer Books In The Pursuit Of Holiness ~ An Intercessory Discourse ~ Volume 1 and Praying Through Lifes Storms ~ An Intercessory Discourse ~ Volume 2 represent a compilation of faith-filled prayers that have beendownloaded into my spirit man by the Holy Spirit, as I wentthrough my Refiner s Fire, and was struggling over the last six(6) years seeking from GOD, what is His divine purpose for mehere on this corrupted planet, and are separated into:

1) Prayers we need to help us pursue our desire that isengrained in our spirits, to become perfect Images of JESUSCHRIST, and present ourselves as His True Ambassadors,walking in spirit and truth, while striving towardsdeveloping CHRIST-like characteristics of Holiness andRighteousness.

2) Weapons of Warfare, which we need to help us spirituallydiscern, negate, neutralize, and nullify every diabolicalattack of the defeated devil, sometimes subtle, sometimes

brazen, on every aspect of our daily living, and those of ourloved ones, as we intensify this Pursuit of Holiness.

These prayers must be said in tandem for best effect, as theirneeds go hand in hand. May your testimonies of GODsdeliverance, as you meditate on His truth, glorify His awesomename for all to see, to GOD be all the glory!!

INTRODUCTION

After compiling over five hundred Prayers, written throughDivine Inspiration, during a period of more than four years of

personal struggles, in which I was painfully taken throughGODs Refiners Fire, when I decided to submit myself to betransformed from an out and out non-repentant sinner, to a manwho strives to develop a character after GODs own H eart.Since I am not one to do anything halfheartedly, when I finallyanswered GODs long time call on my life, and got saved inApril 2008, I made the corporate decision to give it all up to

JESUS. It was then all hell broke loose, the enemy didnt wantto lose one of his most faithful servants.

These Prayers were part of the arsenal that helped me along theway, and looking at them in hindsight, they cover two mainareas that affect our Spiritual lives. Our pursuit to becomePerfect images of GOD, as well as being the defensive andoffensive mechanism, against these persistent battles we face,which are propagated by the enemy of our Souls, in his neverending quest to steal our Salvation.

Converting the material from my personal journals, into useful,easily referenced books, was such an immense challenge, thedifferent categories, the choice of which Prayers to use, the

book cover design, the manuscript layout, nothing seemed towork. I struggled with developing the concept that will attractreaders for more than a year. I looked at so many onlinesamples, and many attempts at design were scrapped, nothingsparked , it just wasnt coming together , I was at wits end tocome up with ideas, since this is my first publishing effort. Icontacted a few publishers and other external providers, whowere quoting some fees which were mind boggling to say theleast, and way over my capabilities.

However shamefully, I did last, what I should have done first,through Prayer, I cast my cares about this effort, unto the lapour LORD, my C.E.O., ironic isnt it? Sadly speaking I was

trying to write books which advise people on how to go to GODin Prayer, without doing it myself (shame on me!!). Within afew days, I was jerked out of my sleep at about 1:00 am (i.e.after I went to sleep at 11:30 pm, probably GODs own way of

punishing me for my self-indulgent behavior of not coming toHim before) with contraction pains in my stomach that droveme to my computer, where the water bag burst, and out camethe birthing of this twin package An Intercessory Discourse ~Volume 1 and 2 IN THE PURSUIT OF HOLINESS andPRAYING THROUGH LIFES STORMS respectively.

These books are being self-published, every graphic design, andlayout concept that you shall behold as you read these two books, came directly from my Spiritual Consultant The HolySpirit!! Once again GOD has shown up and has proved theScripture, Obedience is better than Sacrifice. If I wasObedient and called on Him, the Sacrifice I experienced intrying to do this myself would have been saved.

GOD has inspired me while writing these Prayers to do so inCorporate Prayer manner, where the Prayers is being done fora body of people, and not for any one individual. This is a term,which I was only explained by an experienced leader, after Ihad already written more than half of the material, as the most

powerful form of Prayer, because it represents two or moreagreeing as one.

I Pray that these two books, which were published to work intandem with each other, touches the lives of GODs people thatthey shall return to having a solid Prayer Life in the face of ourefforts to pursue His Glory, and the many struggles we confrontin overcoming the attacks of the silly devil along the way. Our names are precious to us, andrepresent a personal connection to whowe are, they are our handles, a unique

part of us. We have pet names, schoolnames, nick names, home names, evenbedroom names. Each name reveals

a different personality or character of who we are, in the eyes

of the group of people who use them, and our mindset changesinto the personality that represents the name we are called bye.g. a woman with a Bedroom name of Snookumsimmediately smiles when her husband calls her by it, becausethat name is attached to the events of the bedroom.
