***Presidents Report*** Greetings to All, Our AGM has been held. Thanks to Bernie McKeegan for chairing the meeting for us the result was no changes to our Committee. My thanks to all the executive & general committee members for their work over the last year. Since the AGM we have had a nomination for Vice President position from Geof Baulch. This nomination has been accepted subject to club members vote of approval at our August meeting. The annual Club Luncheon was held at the Cardinia Park Hotel at Beaconsfield. We had a lot of Members attending, comments on venue & meals all favourable. Dean Williams accepted his well deserved Club Person of the year award from the President. Congratulations to Dean & Ann on the announcement of their engagement. Wedding Bells soon! Our August meeting features a presentation by Brian Churchill on Henry Ford & his Peers & associates. I am sure this is not to be missed as Brian`s last presentation was ultra informative. Our annual Charity day assisting the Beaumauris Motor Yacht Squadron with car rides for the Able Foundation It is great to see & hear the deaf, mute & blind folks having an experience we all take for granted. Numbers were a little down this year as the Bay didn`t co-operate with calm winds for boat rides etc. 3 T models attended, Geof Baulch, Robbie Dalton & Myself in Jaya`s 27 tourer, Bruce Csorba Holden 48-215 plus a 1924 Rolls Roller. The Flathead Ford Festival was held at Caribbean Gardens on Sunday. We had the biggest turnout of Flathead Fords yet. Small Ford 4`s, T`s, A`s , V8`s, Hotrod`s , Racecar specials & Speedsters. Outside the compound was filled with Zephyr, Zodiacs, Custom Fords & Hotrods not Flathead powered. Some 200 plus cars on display. The organizing Committee had a cake cutting ceremony for Henry on his 156th birthday anniversary. The cake didn`t last too long but most people got a piece. Congratulations to our combined Clubs organizing committee. September 13th Meeting will feature our club Auction Night featuring Auctioneer Geof Baulch assisted ably by Bruce Csorba & Andrew Brand. Bring your rust n stuff there is always someone looking for more "stuff for their shed" Saturday 14th September is a workshop day at Dillons Motors. A good opportunity for Pre Nationals safety checks. October Meeting features David Jone`s presentation of the "Trials & Tribulations of building a Teardrop caravan to be Model T Towed" Any ideas of day runs or rally destinations are welcome at all times. The committee is working on a Rally venue for November Cup Weekend. Destination/accommodation etc will be announced by our next meeting & by email. It is our Club`s turn to run the Xmas party this year any raffle prize donations would be welcomed. Contact Cheryl Weatherhead or Jo Baulch to co-ordinate. We are gunna need a "Fat Santa" as well! Any ideas??? Bye for Now, Stay Healthy & Safe Motoring "See you over the running board" Dave & Chez

****Congratulations Dean!****

Caribbean Gardens– A great day out.

It was a good turn-up today. We counted 15 T’s the weather was the best yet. No wind, and a touch of sunshine. Looked like the numbers were the best yet as the display covered a large area. Article and Pictures by Pam Weidemann.
