Day At The Lake Recap
We had quite a gathering of 28 Skunks enjoying a
beautiful day at Toma Lee’s.
Many went boat riding in the afternoon while
others watched the BYOB (Build Your Own
Bikini) contest.
We enjoyed a wonderful steak dinner with plenty
of corn, sides, and deserts. Several Skunks stayed
and partied into the night.
We boated over for breakfast and some even
stopped at a few bars on the way back.
Thank you to our hosts Toma Lee and Ron J for
sharing their homes and captaining the boats.
A great weekend was had by all!
RECAP – CMSC PICNIC
Several Skunks joined other clubs for a
great day at the Norge Ski Jump. Burgers
and Brats were grilling, for the hungry
partiers.
To beat the heat there were water games
played, baggo games and even some
volleyball.
Then we were all amazed as the Ski
Jumping began, without snow no less.
After cheering on the jumpers, those who
stayed enjoyed a great live band,
Centerfold and danced the night away.
A summer day of fun

If you want to get your money's worth
out of that expensive lift ticket, you'll
need plenty of cardio endurance. Most of
us hit the slopes and plan on skiing all
day, even if it's been months or years
since we last skied. By afternoon, you're
so tired that your legs feel like jello, a
prime time for injuries and accidents to
happen.
To prepare your heart and body for long-
term skiing, your cardio program should
include:
3 to 5 days each week of your
favorite activity. The best for skiing
include running, the stairmaster, step
aerobics, elliptical trainer and
rollerblading.
A variety of workouts at varying
intensities lasting from 20 to 45
minutes.
One long, slow workout each week
for 60 or more minutes to condition
your legs and lungs for long days of
skiing.
Strength for downhill skiing begins
before you set foot on the slopes.
Prepare your body for skiing and you
will spend hours on the snow without
muscle fatigue.
The Skunks will be joining ski clubs from all around
Chicagoland for an exciting and fun-filled week of
skiing and many great CMSC activities at Big Sky
Montana.
We are flying into Bozeman, MT
7 nights lodging with 2 choices:
Big Horn Condos: Total Price $1,735
Huntley Hotel – Ski In/Out: Total Price $1,999
Initial Deposit $300
Trip Leader: Don Blazowski (Blaze)
