The Year 2013 - 2014
President: 2013 - 2014 Wayne Lucas
Greetings,
Changeover night is this Tuesday at Natalie’s. This is my last day as President.
We have such a wonderful club, because of its members, friends and volunteers. Our mighty
club has done well this year due to all our members and friends.
I must thank everyone for making this year a great year. Thanks to all the members who shook
cans at the Whitehorse Farmers Market, cooked at the Farmers Market, Peter McPhee for mark-
ing out the stalls at the Market, David and Peter for looking after the van, all the directors for
their early start each month, and all the members input at meetings.
A very special thanks to our valuable op-shop staff and to John and Merle who went to the op-
shop on Sundays to take goods into the shop before others took goods away. When I was away,
thanks to those who so ably took my place.
Tonight, Joseph becomes our new President for the next year. Joseph will be a great and enthusi-
astic President, and then the following year, Ron has agreed to be President again the year after.
Thanks very much to Colin for editing the Bulletin and supply paper, ink and time.
Thank you to everyone again. Hope I did not miss anyone.
Wayne
PS We did well in East Java at the village and schools. Thanks to everyone that helped.
Wayne
APOLOGIES: Would all members please ring or email another member if they are not able to attend a regular meeting of the club, if they find they have another engagement?
