RULES1. All sections of the Show are open to all members of The British Cactus and
Succulent Society and The Mammillaria Society.
2. Exhibitors should read the schedule carefully.
3. Entries are free and will be restricted to two entries per exhibitor per class.
4 The decision of the committee shall be final in all matters. The committee accept no responsibility for any loss or damage, but all reasonable care will be taken.
5. Judging and classification of plants shall be in accordance with the 10th Edition of The BCSS Handbook of Shows. The judges’ reserve the right to withhold any award or prize card, if in their opinion any exhibit in a particular class does not merit such an award. Any plant that in the opinion of the judge is infected by pests or disease will be removed from the show and not considered for any prize.
6. All staging must be completed by 10:30 am on the morning of the show. The show manager or stewards under his direction reserve the right to re-position any plant, either for reason of space or aesthetic presentation.
7. Any appeal against the judges’ decision must be lodged with the show secretary in writing within an hour of the completion of judging, together with a complaints fee of £2.00, which will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
8. Exhibits must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor and are staged at the owner’s own risk. Exhibits should not contain more than one plant per container.

All points awarded will be counted towards trophies and awards.
All trophies are perpetual awards and remain the property of The Branch. Exibitors should undertake to return the Trophies in good clean condition for the next show on notification given by the show secretary.
10. All entry forms MUST be completed and returned to the show secretary no later than Thursday 26th July 2018. NO ENTRIES will be accepted on the day of the show. Entry to the show constitutes acceptance of the rules.
Members are encouraged to bring plants for sale on the Branch Plant Sales table. Each plant must be in an individual pot, with a clearly marked label denoting the Sale price and Vendor. The Branch takes a 10% commission of any sale.
