However, students with disabilities make up a much higher proportion of the student population in some schools than others.

According to Wider Opportunities for Women’s Basic Economic Security Tables, the economic security wage requirement for one worker with one preschool-age child living in Fulton County is $3,508 per month, or $42,096 per year. In DeKalb County, the basic economic security wage for one adult and one child is similar, at $3,510 per month, or $42,120 per year.

And low and high income populations are highly concentrated in some areas:

Large proportions of households in parts of the metro make $200,000 or more, while in south Atlanta and other clusters, up to 89 percent of households earn less than $35,000.
