The use of Incoterms® 2010 rules in international transactions and the filing of export
declarations are both critical to international trade activity. This session will start with an
in-depth training on the role of freight terms in international transactions, interpreting the
terms and defining the responsibilities for freight costs
and risk of loss. Then we will go into detail on how to
correctly file Electronic Export Information.
This training will cover the important terms such as
US Principal Party in Interest (USPPI), Foreign
Principal Party in Interest (FPPI), and routed
transactions, as well as, explain the role of the export
license. Learn how to work with freight forwarders
and establish good procedures for managing risk.
