Why the idea was chosen1- The young generation is busy in their own works and the old people are feeling themselves to be ignored in their society and family .2- At present the villagers inclination is towards the western culture, music and they have been neglecting the local traditions and beliefs .3- The villagers are spending their maximum time on television, mobiles and DVD for entertainment and there is no more Choupal, Sangeet Mandali, Noutanki, Dhola, Aalha & Bhajan Mandali. like in past days.4. Their is one more fact that in past days during their routine work people were used to hum these songs. In result their work speed become fast and they never felt tired.5. They are also very helpful in maintaining the brotherhood atmosphere in the rural societies.

The village Bari Khas, situated 33 km. from Dist. Shahjahanpur. Maximum population of this village is illiterate. It is a backward and poor village due to having a number of social, economical, educational types of problems like other villages But these problems are in the knowledge of people and system and many programs are being launched to remove them. Hence the DFC team has decided to focus on any untouched issue. After thinking a lot an striking idea came in their mind to save promote the TRADITIONAL SONGS. They noticed that the villagers are at the edge of forgetting the old traditional local songs and the young generation is taking interest in absurd Pop and movie songs.
