Indentifying sounds
‘ch’, ‘sh’ and ‘th’ as initial sounds
Notes for teachers
A fun activity for identifying the ‘ch’, ‘sh’ and ‘th’ sound as an initial sound. The diver will drag a suitable picture onto the screen which will then fall to
the sea bed. The word ending will float down and pupils have to choose the correct initial sound from the three
choices given.
