Who are P W Financial Management Established in 1999 by Peter Waterfield and Percy Westhead & Co
Peter Waterfield has been advising clients for over 30 years and was one of
the first advisers to be awarded the Chartered Financial Planner title. Peter was joined by Martin Cooke in April 2012. Martin is a very experienced
adviser and is highly qualified in Financial Services With the majority of Peter’s early career working for large national IFA firms we
aim to give large IFA expertise with local IFA service

How do we do this • It is very important to us that this
process is completed thoroughly and each clients is assessed based on their needs
• Some clients may need additional meetings before we prepare and present the plan
• The whole process is done on a timescale that suits the client
Client proposition • We will always quote a fixed fee either a monetary amount or a
percentage of funds invested • Fees will be quoted in advance of any chargeable work • We will agree a review schedule which will be at least once a year
but can be more often • We do not contact clients for marketing purposes • We will only contact clients during the year if appropriate due to
exceptional circumstances, examples of which could be:- 1) change of a fund manager
2) concern over a funds performance 3) changes to Legislation
4) changes to tax laws
Investment Proposition • In depth discussion of your attitude to risk and capacity for capital
loss • Draw up an asset allocation model to fit in with future plans and
requirement for capital sums or regular income • We utilise the output of the rating agencies as we do not have
capacity to carry out due diligence ourselves • Choose funds which have a consistent performance record • We do not believe in frequent tactical changes as they very rarely
add value • We are looking to generate a good level of income or capital growth
for clients relative to interest rates and inflation • For clients who are looking for outperformance of markets we have
connections with stockbrokers and discretionary investment managers

• We are continuously assessing developments in technology and how it can help clients
• We have always been at the forefront with technology and were in the group of first IFAs to use online quotation systems and investment platforms
• Believe platform technology is one of the most efficient ways for clients to manage their investments
• For clients who want the ultimate service we have WRAP platforms available
