the action of the Government in fraudulently disposing of the State Monier Pipe Undertaking's assets to a company in which Sir Sydney Snow, General President of the United Australia Party, is the principal director; that the facts revealed by the Auditor-General, showing that stores and stock sold by the Government to the said company at half price were bought back by the Government at full price; that the Auditor-General's report that the Government was unable to take legal action because the Governtnent was not represented at the sale by any person whose word could be relied upon in a court of law, and because of the corruption and incompetence displayed throughout the whole transaction demands the cen-sure of tins Assembly and that the Ministry does not possess the confidence of this How. (2.) That the foregoing Resolution be conveyed by address to His Excellency the Governor, negatived, 175-6. _
