ENBeautiful coloured tilings were one of the most cha-racteristic features in Antoni Gaudi’s works. Commonly known as “trencadís” they were made of waste pieces in original and imaginative combinations.
FRLes belles mosaïques colorés créées à partir d’éclats de céramique sont un des traits les plus caractéris-tiques dans l’oeuvre d’Antoni Gaudi. Populairement connues avec le mot catalan “trencadís” elles étaient faites de morceaux de déchets avec des combinai-sons originales et imaginatives.
DESchöne, farbige Kachel waren die charakteristischs-ten Eigenschaften in Antoni Gaudi’s Arbeit. Übli-cherweise bekannt als “trencadís”, sie bestehen aus Stücken von Müll in Original und phantasievollen Kombinationen.

ENThe design of this umbrella is inspired by the Park Güell’s tower, of helicoidal shape and white and blue tiling.

ENThis umbrella reproduces the design of the mosaic created by Antoni Gaudí in 1904. Later it was used to rehabilitate “La Pedrera”. Today a reproduction of this mosaic can be seen in the sidewalk in “Passeig de Gracia” avenue.
