• One of the most important symbols is the Om, as a symbol of Hinduism.

CITIES• India’s capital is New Delhi,

but the most populated city and the economic center is Mumbai.

TAJ MAHAL• Taj Mahal is one of

the most important monuments in India.

• Is situated in Agra.

• Taj Mahal is not a palace, but a great tomb of an Indian queen.

important Indian pacifist. He was lawyer and politic, and one of the most influential persons in the country.

• He fought for the rights and the independence of India.
