MY DAILY LIFE
This is my daily routine. No special work is done, but still I find that I
don’t get enough time to do my works Don’t even get time to think about myself,
then when do I think about my country? INDIA AND ME – what connection does India
have with me? What do I have to do for India? Many more questions follow…
WHEN DOES THE WORD “INDIA”COME TO MY MIND?
When somebody brings fame and glory to the country through their meritorious achievements in various fields.
On special occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day Or Gandhi Jayanthi.
While I watch an India-Pak cricket match or a movie like ‘CHAK DE! INDIA’.
When I listen any Patriotic songs or whileI sing the National Anthem.
While filling a form which asks myNationality.And….all these days, while thinking about this presentation topic.
HOW DO I COME TO KNOW ABOUT INDIA?Only one answer – through the media How does the media display India? Incredible India , the marketing campaign to
promote Indian tourism shows the geographical diversity, rich culture, unity in diversity fascinating festivals and other attractive elements of India.
Here, only one face of India is being focused… The face of India, which we want to proudly present before the world.
INCREDIBLE INDIA…
I feel really happy when I hear about the advancements and achievements in various fields like defence, technology, sports, film industry etc.
THE OTHER/ REAL FACE OF INDIA
India faces many challenges like poverty, unemployment, corruption, illiteracy and other developmental issues.
Millions of people living in the slum areasAbove 360 million people living below the official
poverty lineIndia has the largest no. of illiterate adults in the
world.India has over 40 million unemployed people.India is 87th on corruption list.
THIS IS THE CREDIBLE INDIA
CAN I/WE DO SOMETHING TO BRING A CHANGE TO THE PRESENT INDIA?It is easy to blame others. Really easy to
blame the politicians and claim that they are responsible for corruption in India. But…Are we not really responsible?
The first change should be brought about in our attitude towards the country.
Everybody wants to change the society but nobody wants to change themselves…
Nobody is capable of doing everything for the country. But, all of us can do something for the country.
When all of us, especially the intelligent and hardworking youth in the country work together, then we can pave the way for a great change in the present condition of India.
So…we can work together for the betterment of our country.
LET INDIA SHINE!!!
THANKYOU
