India has captured the imagination of travellers dating back to the spice trade and perhaps even before this. As a large and populous country in Eastern Asia with unshakable roots in a complex, yet peaceful religious system, India offers a virtual feast for adventurers of all disciplines and interests. Matt from Adventurebug has travelled extensively in India and declares it the ultimate compliment to the discerned traveller’s quiver. Co-leader Anna Panszczyk has also travelled India extensively and between her and Ginette Beaudoin´s vast leading experience, you will be in very good hands. India is an authentic experience for the mind, body and soul. Blissful, tantalizing, colourful, and introspective describe some of its emotions. It is the traveller’s finest hour… Striking the right balance for Indian travel is an art and our customized tour focuses on the country’s finest features – without sacrificing too much comfort! Our adventure begins in Delhi, the thriving northern capital and we journey south to Kerala - India´s lush, tropical jungle state. On route we also visit Rajasthan – India´s most empowering and quintessential state. Expect visits to rural areas meeting wonderful local tribespeople and hiking through stunning natural areas and jungles teeming with wildlife. This is an active way to see India – but it´s not exclusively a hiking holiday. We are active daily yet not exhausting ourselves. Hikes range from easy cultural walks around villages and grand temples to moderate forest and hill hikes to capture the feeling of India´s wilder side. Travelling through the heart of India allows us to explore the finest blend of monuments, rural areas, cultural attractions, gastronomical delights and simply capturing glimpses of daily life. Bright turbans, flowing skirts, twirled moustaches, a graceful language, rustic forts, outrageous temples, lakes and hillsides, history and culture embedded in every grain of its yellow sand. We find amazing sunsets and sunrises, tales of chivalry and courage and a welcoming culture that has so much to teach us. These are all part and parcel of the fascination of India. Elephants, monkeys, tigers resting in undergrowth, pythons coiled in trees and peacocks strolling about are still part of India´s daily life. Cows! These sacred beasts roam freely – sometimes blocking roads; or gazing into restaurants yet never a source of anguish for locals. All part of India´s diversity! Whether on foot or from our air-conditioned private coach, a short flight, a historic train journey, rickshaw, jeep safari, a private house boat and perhaps a camel cart, we experience India using all mediums of transport! Add visits to a local school, a doctor’s infirmary and become guests of a tribal community in central India. This is truly a diverse program offering tremendous insight for the discerned traveller. We welcome you to join us on this very special journey in 2019!

INDIA Adventure 2019 TRIP DATE 7-20 January 2019 (leave North America 6 January)

NAMASTE! India has captured the imagination of travellers

dating back to the spice trade and perhaps even before this. As a

large and populous country in Eastern Asia with unshakable roots in

a complex, yet peaceful religious system, India offers a virtual feast

for adventurers of all disciplines and interests.

Matt from Adventurebug has travelled extensively in India and declares it the ultimate compliment to the discerned traveller’s

quiver. Co-leader Anna Panszczyk has also travelled India extensively and between her and Ginette Beaudoin´s vast leading

experience, you will be in very good hands.

India is an authentic experience for the mind, body and soul. Blissful,

tantalizing, colourful, and introspective describe some of its emotions. It is

the traveller’s finest hour… Striking the right balance for Indian travel is an

art and our customized tour focuses on the country’s finest features –

without sacrificing too much comfort! Our adventure begins in Delhi, the

thriving northern capital and we journey south to Kerala - India´s lush,

tropical jungle state. On route we also visit Rajasthan – India´s most

empowering and quintessential state. Expect visits to rural areas meeting

wonderful local tribespeople and hiking through stunning natural areas and

jungles teeming with wildlife. This is an active way to see India – but it´s not

exclusively a hiking holiday.

We are active daily yet not exhausting ourselves. Hikes range from easy cultural walks around villages and grand temples to

moderate forest and hill hikes to capture the feeling of India´s wilder side. Travelling through the heart of India allows us to

explore the finest blend of monuments, rural areas, cultural attractions, gastronomical delights and simply capturing glimpses

of daily life.

Bright turbans, flowing skirts, twirled moustaches, a graceful language,

rustic forts, outrageous temples, lakes and hillsides, history and culture

embedded in every grain of its yellow sand. We find amazing sunsets

and sunrises, tales of chivalry and courage and a welcoming culture that

has so much to teach us. These are all part and parcel of the fascination

of India. Elephants, monkeys, tigers resting in undergrowth, pythons

coiled in trees and peacocks strolling about are still part of India´s daily

life. Cows! These sacred beasts roam freely – sometimes blocking

roads; or gazing into restaurants yet never a source of anguish for locals.

All part of India´s diversity!

Whether on foot or from our air-conditioned private coach, a short flight, a historic train journey, rickshaw, jeep safari, a

private house boat and perhaps a camel cart, we experience India using all mediums of transport! Add visits to a local school, a

doctor’s infirmary and become guests of a tribal community in central India. This is truly a diverse program offering

tremendous insight for the discerned traveller. We welcome you to join us on this very special journey in 2019!

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS New Delhi and it´s grand diversity. From Red Forts to Mosques,

Temples, the Parliament Square and the inspiring House of Birla

from where Ghandi led the country (and was assassinated). Ride a

rickshaw through Old Delhi´s spell bounding labyrinth; Gaze across

the city from the high walls of Delhi Fort and more.

Agra and the Taj Mahal. No journey to India is complete without

visiting the world´s greatest monument to love. Agra is not just

about the Taj… the Red Fort here is filled with legend and

incomprehensible architecture.

Rajastan State. India´s Maharaja´s ruled central India from

impressive hilltop palaces adorned with treasures and protected by

sworn devotees - even the British Colonials were so in awe that

Rajastan remained somewhat autonomous during their occupation.

Rajastan is simply wonderful. From deserts in the north to jungle

laden mountain ranges south, we explore the state´s finest features –

including enchanting Udaipur where hikes and boat journeys

complement our tour.

Southern India. The holy traditions of the ancient Hindu Kingdom

are most prevalent in the steamy jungle states of South India. Here

we find great bio-diversity and verdant forests, jungles and tropical

beaches. A highlight is our backwaters journey on comfortable

house boats with private quarters, a personal chef and the luxury of

watching India´s rural landscapes pass us by from sunrise to sunset!

A refreshing gin and tonic best compliments the experience…
