Tremendous advances in science and technology have enabled greater understanding of the brain, yet mental healthcare remains inaccessible and inadequate to much of the world’s population. The practice of psychiatry is changing in terms of its presentation, treatment options and expectations. There is an utmost need for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to equip themselves with up-to-date knowledge and training in psychiatry.

We are especially thankful to Dr. Jayanta Das and the entire team for taking the initiative of organizing the National Conference of Private Psychiatry at Guwahati.

It gives us immense pleasure to know that IAPP, Assam State ndBranch, is organizing the 22 Annual National Conference of

th stIAPP (ANCIAPP 2021) from 18 to 21 November 2021 at Guwahati.
