OUR TRADITION : SARI The sari is a long strip of unstitched cloth that women

drape over the body in several unique ways. In the late 20th century, the most common way to carry the sari is to cover it around the waist and drape it over the shoulder. Women wear a fitted short-sleeved blouse called a "choli" or "ravika."In the late 19th and 20th century the sari became a emblem of the Indian nation. The sari developed as a costume of its own in both South and North India is widely regarded as an epitome of Indian culture.

This traditional dress up is mainly worn by men in hamlets.
