While appreciating the efforts and contribution of Indians from the state of Kerala towards the growth of UAE over the decades, Indian Institute of Logistics recognizes and would encourage and assist the students of the same origin from its Kochi / Chennai branches to enhance their skills that meet international standards for career growth and development in UAE.
Population About 1.3 billion people or a fifth of world total of about 5.9 billion people are Muslim. Among them, around 270 million are Arabs, which is here defined as the population of 22 member countries of Arab Leagues. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates(UAE) and Oman are the member countries of Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) countries whose total population counts about 28.67 million (UN ESCWA, 1998), which is roughly 10 % of total Arab population.
EligibilityStudents who are enrolled with IIL or with any other partnering University of IIL are only eligible to OPT for GULF PLAN.
DemographicsDubai is unusual, in that its population is comprised mainly of expatriates.
A majority of its expatriate’s population reportedly trace their origins to India (mostly Kerala) and neighboring cities in India.
Dubai is also home to some 100,000 British and other western expatriates.
If admitted, students should agree to be bound by the rules and regulations now in force and those that will be made from time to time by Indian Institute of Logistics / UAE Govt
Only students who are enrolled with IIL / Partnering University Students for Prof. Diploma / Adv. Dip / PGD / MBA are Eligible for GULF PLAN
All right of admission for GULF PLAN IS RESERVED
Visa and Registration fee is non-refundable in the event of rejection of visa or the candidate is not acceptable for IIP by Logistics and Shipping Companies at UAE
All the students should hold valid (min 6 months) passport, if not please apply immediately
The Duration for IIP is 60 - 90 Days (+/-10%) between Quarter 1 to Quarter 2 of every year, however Quarter 3 & Quarter 4, also can be applied for GULF PLAN
Student has to submit all the documents required for Visa processing WITHIN SPECIFIED TIME
8. Last date to Register for Gulf plan is 30th September of every year

Students should accept all the decisions of the authorities concerned in all matters of Training, Conduct, Process of Examination and Discipline
Extra Cost other than the specified ones if applicable, will be paid additionally by the Student
Visa will be provided, either for 60 ~ 90 days according to the discretion of the Management of the company where the student is lined up for IIP
13. IIL is not reponsible, if the student is not acceptable by the company after the student reports to the company in UAE, or Disowned by the company for “NOT” reporting regularly to the company, or for any other reasons

15. The “GULF PLAN” is taken by the student at his/her Cost/Time/Risk
