j If you had $23,000 would you be will-ing to put at least half of that amount

j In a New York production of "The StormI Bird?"j That question was put to tne afterj seeing the first presentation of this newj play by the Walker Players at tbe Muratthis week.

Mr. Walker seems to think that he hasa play In “Ths Storm Bird" which couldweather the New York climatic condi-tion*

In behalf of “The Storm Bird" It canbe tald that It ha* at least four welldeveloped character* as well as an abttn

Above all "The Storm Bird" has someI very human character* snd a love themei which c*n not go wrong,j And we think when Lael Dsvls and

I Just as the daughter seems about toachieve thst goal she falls ttj love withJerry Bel den. a w-slthy young manabout town, and decides the stage 1*empty compared to love tn a cottage.

There is nothing for Jerry to do, sinceMrs. Dean will not relent, but to JoinBettlna’s troupe in order that, he may benear her,

However, it doesn't work out that way,for the play turns out to be a big hit.

But a* you may suapect, Jsrry finds away to gain hla ends, and Bettiua'smother la reconciled. •
