Happy New Year 2020!
Hello friends, welcome everyone to a brand new decade.
New decade means new beginning. Therefore, we are back again to bringing you more details of our residents’ daily activities as well as what went on inside our facility within
the past months, all in this New Year issue.
Also, we would like to use this opportunity to wish our readers a Happy Lunar New Year. We hope this Year of the Rat will be-ing you full of luck, joy, happiness and good wealth. Gong Hei Fat Choy!

and Clinical Governance Committee has been set up. It is an
independent committee, its objective is to provide independent
professional advice to facilitate decision making at Board level.

Purchase of property
The Board of Directors is proud to announce that our
organization has purchased a property at 22 Katinka Street
Bonnyrigg for future expansion of the facility.

Our outing pro-
gram in the last
quarter involved
taking the resi-
dents on quite
some trips.
The elders went to
see the Auburn Bo-
tanic Garden with
the accompany of
our staff and vol-
unteers. The group
had the chance to
explore the place,
especially the pop-
ular Japanese Gar-
den within and
strike some poses
for the camera.
Our residents also
went to have din-
ner at The Star
Sydney to cele-
brate the early
Christmas.

The annual Residents' Christmas Party was held on December 6th afternoon. The luncheon was joined by the resi-dents' family members, the Chairman and Directors along with our staff and many volunteers.
Thank you to everyone who have been
working on this event and making it
run smoothly and successfully. A spe-
cial shout out to our catering team for
preparing a deliciously sumptuous
meal. We also want to express our ap-
preciation to the volunteers for taking
their time to come and perform and
have fun with us.
What a wonderful Christmas

Staff Christmas Party
As part of the tradition at
Indochinese Aged Care
Services, a Christmas par-
ty was organised for staff
to celebrate the year-end
holiday season.
This year it was held on
13th December 2019 at
the Golden Palace restau-
rant. Beside our staff, the
Chairman himself and
many Directors also made
it to the party and joined
in the fun with us. Special
certificates were also be-
ing presented on the
night to many employ-
ees who were awarded
with 'Team Player Award'
and 'Resident's Choice
Award'.
The Management at Indo-
chinese Aged Care Ser-
vices would like to use
this opportunity to send
gratitude to all of our
staff for working so dili-
gently this year. We hope
everyone had a good time
at the party.

Staff’s Well-being Facility Opening Ceremony
On Friday 15 November,
we held a party at 16
Katinka St. It was organ-
ised to celebrate the
newly developed project
targeting at staff's gen-
eral well-being. The facil-
ity includes a brand new
karaoke system and a
table tennis set for our
staff's entertainment.
The Chairman and the
Board of Directors had
approved the project in
hope that it will benefit
our employees over the
long run. We hope our
staff can enjoy and find
positive energy in this
new program.

康樂員蔡姑娘(Edith)活動簡報
2020年即將到來，在此感謝來到院舍表演同探訪的團體，同抽出
寶貴時間幫忙的員工們，多謝你們帶給老人家的歡樂時光。
大家好！在這簡單報告過去三個月的活動如下：
10月 6日就開始了夏令時間，日長夜短。令老人家們多點時間好
享受到戶外散步同日光浴。
十月六日曾澤平主席、曾維佳董事們及護士長羅偉等，熱烈歡迎台灣北護分院一行八人
代表團到訪。並帶領代表團參觀院舍內外設施及醫療設備等。
十月七日為重陽節，是登高掃墓的節日，是日信託人皆同三區院舍老人家上香並備有三
牲酒禮拜祭先人。
十月二十五日院舍十多位住客連同職員及義工二十多人出發參觀南半球最大的廟宇南天
寺，整日都是下著濛濛細雨，幸好無驚無險到達目的地並得到南天寺主持們的歡迎及享
用齋宴，院友們都得以盡歡而返。在此要多謝住客親屬洪先生為老人家在南天寺所安排
的齋宴。
十一月五日澳洲墨爾本盃賽馬日，當日老人家們戴上親手做頭飾，雀躍萬分地坐在電視
機前觀看自己所落注的馬能否勝出。
十一月十一日為亡軍紀念日，活動組員將有關資料海報張貼於壁報版上。亦於當日講解
於老人家知道亡軍紀念日的源由。
十二月六日是本中心院友及其家屬的聖誕聚餐。當日邀請到多個團體為大家表演節目理
事會更預備小小心意送給院友們，並備有豐富的美食讓老人家同親屬們享用，賓主盡
歡。
十二月十二日十多位老人家由職員、義工及親屬陪同下前往星港城享用豐富多元的自助
晚餐並於餐後乘車到達令港參觀每年一度的聖誕燈飾。
十二月中有多個基督教會團體活動，到訪者為院友們唱聖誕歌，有分享信息同牧師講
道，並贈送禮物予各位長者。
十二月十四日內西區獅子會獅友到訪本院，並送上多箱水果予老人家享用，亦同院內老
人家一起唱聖誕歌並送上多首懷舊金曲，在此特別感謝內西區獅子會的愛心和支持。
十二月二十八日台灣總統選舉國民黨候選人韓國瑜的夫人李佳芬等一行拜訪本院，由主
席黃肇強和董事們陪同並分別在三區院向長者親切問候及派水果和福袋。

印支高齡服務中心於 12
月 13 日星期五晚在天天
漁村海鮮酒樓舉行慶祝
聖誕聯歡晚會，本中心
董事局、理事、員工、
義工及嘉賓出席共慶。
首先，各分別以不同語
言或方言向出席者祝賀
聖誕快樂，隨後各董事
局成員亦分別向職員及
義工們頒發長期服務
獎，包括服務達 15年及
10年的員工，每人可得
紅包做感謝他們優秀服
務及工作成果。此外，
職員和義工們亦分別獲
得年度之「優秀員工
獎 」當中包括「最佳合
作夥伴」、「最佳創意
獎」、「最佳進步獎」
及「住客最喜愛職員
獎 」 ，還向數十位義
工們頒發了「愛心獎
狀 」，感謝他們對院
友們所獻出的愛心和關
懷服務。
除了頒發獎狀環節外，
更安排有由 Ms. MEL
WHEELER 表演呼拉圈，
鄭幗晶、鄭美玲、職
員、嘉賓等先後獻唱，
晚會最後在幸運大抽獎
及卡拉 ok 娛樂助慶後結
束。

中心為迎接聖誕提前於 12 月 6
日(星期五)在本院喜濤苑餐廳，
舉辦盛大的聖誕聚餐，由義工團
體等分別在三院區表演助興，到
處掛著聖誕裝飾充滿濃濃的聖誕
氣氛。本院並準備聖誕禮物由主
席黃肇強及理事們分送給每位住
客，祝福老人家“聖誕快樂、身
體健康”。並準備豐盛美味佳餚
與來賓、住客親友、義工及職員
分享，共聚一堂歡度聖誕。長者
們和大家一起享受豐富美味的食
物，大家陶醉在這樂趣中, 餐會
在一片歌聲與歡笑中結束。
