DAY 1: Sunday, 17 April 2011 Depart Sydney Today we will depart Sydney on Garuda Indonesia bound for Jakarta. On arrival in Jakarta, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 2: Monday, 18 April 2011 B Jakarta Today we explore Jakarta. During today’s city tour we visit Old Batavia (Old Town), Sunda Kelapa Old Harbour, the Maritime Museum and the National Monument (MONAS).

DAY 3: Tuesday, 19 April 2011 B Jakarta Today a coach is available for shopping.

DAY 4: Wednesday, 20 April 2011 B L D Jakarta to Kalimantan (Borneo) Upon check out of your accommodation, you will be transferred to the airport to meet your flight to Pangkalan Bun. On arrival at Pangkalan Bun airport you will met then transferred to Kumai. You will then travel by boat to Rimba Lodge. This journey is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Once you arrive, lunch will be served by a local cook. In the evening, continue the tour to explore Proboscis monkeys. Back to the lodge for dinner.

DAY 5: Thursday, 21 April 2011 B L D Camp Leaky Today begins a full day of exploration and encounters with Borneo’s famous wildlife. The program is flexible to afford maximum opportunities for viewing wildlife and taking advantage of any special sightings or occurrences. On arrival at Camp Leakey’s river pier, you are likely to be greeted by some of the resident orangutans. After lunch, you will stay to observe the afternoon feeding of the orangutans, followed by the dusk cruise back to the lodge.

DAY 6: Friday, 22 April 2011 B L D Interact with native animals and local people Early this morning you will leave for Pondok Tanggui to make the morning feeding. In addition to seeing orangutans at the morning feeding, you should see large communities of the fare proboscis monkey. The tour continues to Pasalat reforestation where you will have the opportunity to walk into the jungle and encounter firsthand some of the varied and thriving flora and fauna that make this one the most biologically diverse areas on earth. After lunch, visit Tanjung Harapan village where we can see the Malayan and semi Dayak settlement in the gate of National Park. Back to Rimba Lodge for dinner.

DAY 7: Saturday, 23 April 2011 B Rimba Lodge to Bogor After breakfast, boat transfer down to Kumai and transfer to the airport to meet your flight back to Jakarta. From Jakarta, you will be transferred to Bogor.

During your stay in Bogor, you will: • Enjoy the fellowship of Rotary Bogor • Visit the newly developed orphanage partially funded

by Rotary donations • Tour the villages situated on local dormant volcanoes • Visit the Bogor botanical gardens • Visit the Indonesian presidential palace • Meet and greet local people • There will be opportunity for local shopping and also

the opportunity to play on a spectacular golf course.

Non Rotarians will feel very welcome and included.

DAY 11: Wednesday, 27 April 2011 L D Bogor to Yogyakarta This morning you will be transferred back to Jakarta to meet your flight to Yogyakarta. On arrival in Yogyakarta, you will be met and transferred to the Prambanan temple complex. The ornaments of these temples in this complex were beautifully carved representing the high quality of the past. The main temple of this complex is the highest Hindu temple in Indonesia.

DAY 12: Thursday, 28 April 2011 B L D Yogyakarta

Today we travel to the Magelang district to visit the Borobudur temple. Upon arrival the tour guide will explain the structure of the temple prior to climbing it. On the wall of the temple, we can find the story of the Buddhist founder (Sidharta) and his life. Reaching the top of the temple where philosophically you have reached heaven. It’s an Ideal opportunity to take pictures of the scenery below.

DAY 12: Continued Yogyakarta Next, travel to the Candirejo village. Upon arrival, transport by ‘andong’ (traditional vehicles which are pulled by two horses) will be provided. With this andong you will travel around the village where you can see the daily life of the villagers. Feel the real Javanese hospitality while you enjoy the traditional snacks which the villagers are famous for.

DAY 13: Thursday, 29 April 2011 B L D Yogyakarta

Today you visit the Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta. Here you can see the Javanese architecture with its joglo building style. And the joglo in the palace is a real representation of Javanese architecture. In addition, visit the museum of Hamengkubuwono IX followed by a visit to the water castle, which is supposed to be the swimming pool of the royal family. Beside it is the place where the king of Yogyakarta could escape if there was an attack. Kota Gede, which is well known as the silver centre will be the next point to visit. In the afternoon, spend time walking Malioboro street with the opportunity to do some shopping.

DAY 14: Friday, 30 April 2011 B Yogyakarta to Bali (Denpasar) Free time to further explore Yogyakarta until your transfer in the evening to meet your flight to Denpasar.

DAY 15: Saturday, 1 May 2011 B Bali Free time to explore Bali, shop or relax by the pool. Also there will be the opportunity to travel to Ubud either today or tomorrow.

Closer to departure, Harvey World Travel will look to bulk buy US Dollars for the Indonesian visa as well as source transportation from Newcastle to Sydney and return. Prices will be advised upon confirmation of passenger numbers.

Booking Conditions

Security Deposit: A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $580.00 per person is payable at time of reservation. It is advisable to take out travel insurance at this time.

Airfare Payment: To pay a 2011 reservation at 2010 prices (as per the pricing), airfare payment of $1130.00 per person

including taxes is due by 22 December 2010.

Tour Price: Tour prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room. The Tour Price featured is subject to minimum number of passengers. Should minimum numbers not be met, surcharges may apply.

All prices are based on the rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of printing and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. Prices are subject to increase without notice if such rates change prior to departure.

Payment of Tour Price: The total tour price must be paid no later than Monday 7 March 2011. It is sole responsibility of the passengers to pay the tour price by the due date.

Payment options: Payment can be made by credit card, Eftpos, cash, cheque, direct deposit or using American Express Rewards points^. If payment is made by credit card, a surcharge may apply.

Fare does not include: Airfares and taxes other than those outlined in this itinerary; passports; visas and vaccinations; tips to local guides and drivers; gratuities; laundry; telephone charges; mini bar; beverages and food not on the regular menu; optional excursions; porterage; travel insurance; excess baggage fees; all other items of a personal nature.
