Go Green Racing is a fun, exciting program designed for socially responsible companies that want to create positive change in their community. This innovative team-building program showcases the power of conservation, recycling, and green energy while invigorating teamwork and giving back to a local beneficiary.

As each team collaborates and builds stronger bonds, they usetheir communication and engineering skills to build a fast solar car and a recycled car that they race against other teams’ creations. At the end of the program, all materials, as well as new solar car kits and curriculum are presented to a well-deserving, local school to promote green energy awareness. Ready, Set, Go Green!

In Go Green Racing, teams participate in three simultaneousactivities designed to engage and entertain, while informing their green energy knowledge.

1. SOLAR CARS

Using their ingenuity, creativity and powers ofobservation, teams tinker and tweak their solar car kits to help them develop their best model. Teams race against each other in a fast and furious relay race, using high-powered flashlights, to take home the checkered flag. Each car runs on its own merits and only a limited number of “touches” are allowed by

each team! It’s as entertaining as it is amazing!

2. RECYCLED CARS

Its turbo-charged trash to treasure! Teams use discarded parts from the solar car kits, plus everyday recycled materials, to create a totally recycled solar-powered vehicle. Recycled cars are tested for speed in the Recycled Raceway Challenge, where only one team takes the checkered flag!

3. TEAM FLAG

As unique as the teams themselves, team craft flags that represent their unique interpretation of environmental responsibility. Designed during the event, team flags may be unveiled before the final event to energize team spirit.

At the conclusion of the event, TeamBonding partners with a local beneficiary to donate all solar cars, new solar car kits and classroom curricula to area students on behalf of your company. These donations are used by the schools to emphasize the importance of energy conservation, and to foster creativity and innovation within the classroom. We work to arrange for a beneficiary representative to accept these gifts at the conclusion of your event, for a do-good, feel-good happy ending!
