Induction is not the only modern alternative to traditional HID lighting; LED is another choice. Both Induc-[PVU�HUK�3,+�WYV]PKL�ZPNUPÄJHU[�HK]HU[HNLZ�V]LY�/0+!�LHJO�VɈLY�substantial energy savings, higher luminance levels over a longer pe-riod of time, instant strike and re-strike capabilities, higher CRI, and a much longer system life. Traditionally, high pressure sodium (HPS) lamps are used in most outdoor HID luminaires, pro-]PKPUN�OPNO�Z`Z[LT�LɉJHJPLZ�I\[�very poor color rendering. Addition-ally, HID requires a few minutes to achieve full brightness and up to 15 minutes to re-strike after a power outage. In stark contrast to Induc-tion and LED, HID systems provide much shorter system life while also experiencing rapid lumen deprecia-tion.

Fulham HighHorse Induction System and Induction Luminaire Limited Warranty

;OPZ�^HYYHU[`�JLY[PÄLZ�[OH[�[OL�-\SOHT�/PNO/VYZL�0UK\J[PVU�3PNO[PUN�:`Z[LT��JVTWYPZLK�VM�HU�PUK\J[PVU� lamp and a generator, (the “FHIL System”) and the Fulham Induction Luminaire, comprised of all parts other than the FHIL System supplied by Fulham, (the “FI Luminaire”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship and shall operate from the date of installation (or date of manufacture if installation date is either unknown or unavailable) for a period of up to 7 years for the FHIL System and 7 years for [OL�-0�3\TPUHPYL�HUK�Z\IQLJ[�[V�[OL�;LYTZ�HUK�*VUKP[PVUZ�ZWLJPÄLK�ILSV �̂��;OPZ�>HYYHU[`�7LYPVK�HSSV^Z� up to 8760 hours per year of continuous operation, with a 3 hour per start minimum.

System Components Replacement within Warranty Period If a FHIL System or FI Luminaire fails during the relevant warranty period, and provided that such FHIL :`Z[LT�HUK�-0�3\TPUHPYL�^HZ�PUZ[HSSLK�HUK�VWLYH[LK�HZ�PUKPJH[LK�PU�[OL�;LYTZ�HUK�*VUKP[PVUZ�ZWLJPÄLK�below, Fulham will provide free replacement parts for the FHIL System and/or FI Luminaire, as the case may be.

Return of Defective Product After contacting Fulham and receiving a Return Authorization Number, the user shall promptly return the product at the user’s expense to Fulham. Failure to follow this procedure shall render this warranty null and void.

Labor Allowance within Warranty Period If a FHIL System or FI Luminaire fails within the relevant warranty period for each item and was installed HUK�VWLYH[LK�HZ�PUKPJH[LK�PU�[OL�;LYTZ�HUK�*VUKP[PVUZ�ZWLJPÄLK�ILSV �̂�H�YLHZVUHISL�SHIVY�HSSV^HUJL�may be available under the conditions stated below, and at the sole discretion of Fulham.

Labor Allowance Conditions within Warranty Period All requests for labor must be submitted with a cost estimate in writing to Fulham’s Warranty Manager ([email protected]) before any labor request is considered. Fulham reserves the right to secure alternative cost estimates before authorizing labor allowance. Terms and Conditions FHIL Systems must be installed together as a system. FHIL Systems and FI Luminaires must be oper-ated under suitable environmental conditions and in accordance with the latest National Electrical Code, <UKLY^YP[LYZ�3HIVYH[VY`�)\SSL[PUZ��HUK�(5:0�:WLJPÄJH[PVUZ��;OPZ�^HYYHU[`�^PSS�UV[�HWWS`�PU�[OL�L]LU[�VM� conditions demonstrating abnormal use or stress, such as operating temperatures in excess of maximum rated temperatures, under/over voltage conditions, excessive switching cycles, or improper lamp. This warranty will not apply to luminaires or other components provided by third parties. The luminaire's maximum ambient temperature must not exceed 40C/104F to be eligible.

Replacement of Product, Limits of Liability The foregoing shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the sole and exclusive liability of Fulham. Fulham liability under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement of the FHIL Systems and/or FI Luminaires, as the case may be. In no event shall Fulham be liable for any special, PUKPYLJ[��PUJPKLU[HS�VY�JVUZLX\LU[PHS�KHTHNLZ��5V�^HYYHU[`�VM�TLYJOHU[HIPSP[`�VY�Ä[ULZZ�MVY�H�WHY[PJ\SHY�purpose is made or is to be implied.
