RULES – DOUBLE JEOPARDY

Page 2: Inequality Jeopardy

RULES• Players: 2-3• Players play rock, paper, scissors to determine who chooses which question first and

second.• After choosing who goes when, the first player picks the first question under any category.• If the question is answered correctly, the player earns whatever number of points the

question is. (i.e. graphing for 500 = 500 points)• If the question is answered incorrectly, the player loses however many points the

question is.• During Daily Double, the point amount for the question is doubled. (i.e. 200 regularly =

400 points for DD)• You may use a calculator.• At the end of the game, there is one final question, Double Jeopardy. Players can bet 200-

1000 points (that they currently have) on the question, and if answered correctly, they earn that point amount. If answered incorrect, the points are lost.

• Whoever has the most points wins.• Calculators are allowed only in graphing.

GRAPHING - 1000A box-making company wants to make a box with a volume of 350 inches³ or less.

The sides of the boxes will be no more than 18 inches by 24 inches with the flaps folded up to make a box. What size squares should be cut out? Write an equation and draw a

graph of the function.
