LOGGING INTO INET Welcome to Ranger Boats iNet. This system allows you to manage product orders, including making orders, viewing order statuses, and making quotes.

To log into iNet:

x Type your user ID and password provided by Ranger Boats, and click Login. (See Image 1.1)

The Main Menu screen will display all of the available options you have on iNet. Menu selections may vary depending on your login credentials. (See Image 1.2)

ORDERING PARTS Before you begin ordering products, try to have the serial number for the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer for which you need parts. Using the serial number ensures you are ordering the exact replacement part for the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Orders.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Parts Ordering. (See Image 2.1)

3. In the Customer Number box, type the dealer number or customer number. Note: All dealers should know their dealer numbers. Customers

may not know their customer numbers.

For help searching for customers, reference Searching for Customers. For help adding new customers, reference Adding New Customers.

4. In the Customer Order Entry form (See Image 2.2):

x Type the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer serial number in the Customer P.O. box.

Note: Using the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer serial number in the Customer P.O. box will allow for easier search and lookup on future purchases or order lookups.

x Type the purchase order number (if applicable) in the Ship-to P.O. box. Click OK.

Searching for Parts to Order

You can use three different methods to search for parts on iNet: Order by Serial Number, Order by Part Number, or Order by Browse Inventory.

Order by Serial Number

The recommended way to order parts is with the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer serial number. Using the serial number ensures you are ordering the exact replacement part for the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

Refer to Image 2.3 for steps 1-4 1. On the Shopping Tools menu, click Serial Number Inquiry.

2. Type the Ranger boat serial number in the Boat Ser# box or Ranger trailer serial number in the Trl Ser# box.

3. To narrow down the searchable list of parts, select which system from which you want to search for parts in the System and Subsystem lists.

4. Click Submit.

5. On the Serial Number Explosion screen, click Click Here for More Parts Like These.

Note: You can also view the selection history for the Ranger boat or Ranger Trailer by clicking the Selection History button.

Refer to Image 2.4 for steps 6-10

6. Browse through the parts available for your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

7. Click a part picture or description to view the Part Details and an enlarged picture of the part. You can add the part to your cart from that page.

8. Type the quantity next to the item(s) you want to order.

9. Click Add to Cart for each item you want to order. You will be taken to your updated Shopping Cart.

10. Repeat steps 1-9 to continue shopping with the serial number.

Order by Part Number

You will need to know the part number(s) before you can order with this method.

Refer to Image 2.5

1. On the Shopping Tools menu, click Order by Part Number.

2. In the Product column, type the product number.

3. In the Quantity column, type the quantity. The product description will appear.

4. Click Add to Cart. The product(s) will appear in your Shopping Cart.

Order by Browse Inventory

Browsing the inventory is not the recommended way to order parts. Ordering by serial number for the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer will ensure you are ordering the exact part for your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

Refer to Image 2.6 1. On the Shopping Tools menu, click Browse Inventory.

2. In the Choose Boat or Trailer list, select Boat or Trailer.

3. In the Model list, select your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer model.

4. In the Year list, select the model year of your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

5. In the System list, select the system for which you want to order parts.

6. Browse through the parts available for your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

7. Click a part picture or description to view the Part Details and an enlarged picture of the part. You can add the part to your cart from that page.

8. Type the quantity next to the item(s) you want to order.

9. Click Add to Cart for each item you want to order. You will be taken to your updated Shopping Cart.

10. Repeat steps 1-9 to continue shopping by browsing the inventory.

Checking Out

When you are finished ordering your parts, you’ll need to check out.

1. On the Shopping Cart menu, click View Cart to review your shopping cart before you check out. (See Image 2.7)

2. Click Checkout when you are sure you have selected all the parts you need. (See Image 2.7)

3. Review your billing and shipping address. To change the shipping and payment information:

a. Click Edit Shipping Data. (See Image 2.8)

b. In the Ship To Customer column, type the address to where the package will be shipped. To ship to the billing address, select Same as Billing.

c. In the Shipping Note list, select a shipping mode (this will go on the order notes for the Parts department).

d. In the Shipping Method list, select the desired shipping method.

e. In the Terms Code list, select the payment method. If you selected a credit card as the payment method, type the card information in the Confidential Credit Card Information section.

Note: Credit card information is not sored in iNet. Repeat customers will have to give their card information every time they call to order parts.

f. Click Validate Change. Then, click Update.

5. Review your order information confirmation page. (See Image 2.11) Note: Freight will be automatically calculated and added to

your invoice total. If state or county taxes apply, they will be calculated and added to your invoice total.

Searching for Customers

To search for a customer: 1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Orders.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Customer Search. (See Image 2.1) Note: You can also access Customer Search from the Customer

Order Entry form by clicking Look up.

3. In the search box, type the customer’s zip code and click Search.

4. Click the customer’s name. (See Image 2.12)

The customer’s information will appear in the Customer Order Entry form.

Adding New Customers

To add a new customer: 1. In the Customer Selection form, click Add Customer.

2. In the Zip Code box, enter the customer’s zip code, and click Continue. (See Image 2.13)

3. Click Select next to the correct city. (See Image 2.14)

4. Enter the customer’s information in the Customer Information form. Click Submit. (See Image 2.15)

x Required customer information: name, alpha sort code (first 6 characters of individual’s last name or first 6 of business’s name, excluding “the”), billing address, phone number, and primary contact.

VIEWING PENDING ORDERS Pending orders haven’t been placed or paid for yet. An order will stay in pending status for 45 days before it is automatically removed from iNet.

Refer to Image 3.1. Click the column headings to sort the list by the headings.

To view your pending orders:

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Orders.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Pending Orders. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. To view all pending customer and dealer orders, select All Pending from the View list. To view only the dealer orders, select Dealer Pending from the View list.

If you have pending orders, they will be listed on the screen.

x Click the pencil icon to edit a pending order.

x Click the delete icon to delete a pending order.

x Click the column headings to sort the list by the headings.

Orders in red text are in use by another user and cannot be edited or deleted until the other user is finished with his or her work on the order.

VIEWING ORDERS You can view customer and dealer orders by searching orders by customer information or searching orders by order number.

Searching Orders by Customer Information

We recommend using the customer or dealer number when searching in Customer Order Inquiry/Search. Dealers should know their numbers, but customers might not. Refer to Searching for Customers for help finding customer numbers.

Note: You will need to copy the customer number on the Customer Search screen instead of clicking on the customer’s name.

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Customer Order Inquiry/Search. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. Type the dealer or customer number in the Customer# box. Note: You can also search by name, PO#, or Ship PO/Claim. The

Customer# and Name searches will return all orders for the customer. The PO# or Ship PO/Claim searches will return all orders which contain the numbers in the PO# or Ship PO/Claim.

4. Review the customer’s orders:

a. Click the order number to view the order details. (See Image 4.2) Note: A PDF invoice and the tracking information (as

described in 3a and 3b) are available from the Order Details page.

b. Click the invoice number to view a PDF invoice. (See Image 4.3)

c. Click Track in the FedEx/UPS column to track the package through the shipping provider. (See Image 4.4)

Note: Packages that have not yet shipped will not have tracking available. Packages to be picked up at Ranger Boats will not have tracking available.

5. Click Next to view more of your purchase history.

Searching Orders by Order Number

You will need the order number in order to search with the Order Inquiry by Order Number method.

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Order Inquiry by Order Number. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. In the Order# box, type the order number and click Submit. (See Image 4.5)

4. Review the customer’s orders: a. Click the invoice number to view a PDF invoice. (See Image 4.2 above)

b. Click Track under the FedEx/UPS logos to track the package through the shipping provider. (See Image 4.2 above)

Note: Packages that have not yet shipped will not have tracking available. Packages to be delivered on Ranger delivery trucks or to be picked up at Ranger Boats will not have tracking available.

LOOKING UP PARTS If you only want to know the price of a part, you can search for it without using the process to order parts. You can search for parts by looking up by serial number, looking up by part number, or looking up by browsing the catalog.

Looking up by Serial Number

You will need the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer serial number in order to use the Find Parts Using Serial Nbr feature.

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Find Parts Using Serial Nbr. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. Type the Ranger boat serial number in the Boat Ser# box or Ranger trailer serial number in the Trl Ser# box.

4. In the System list, select which system from which you want to search for parts.

5. Click Submit.

6. On the Serial Number Explosion screen, click Click Here for More Parts Like These. (See Image 5.2)

Note: You can also view the selection history for the Ranger boat or Ranger Trailer by clicking the Selection History button.

Looking up by Part Number

You will need the part number in order to use the Lookup By Part feature. 1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Lookup By Part. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. In the Part Number box, type the part number, and then click Submit. (See Image 5.5)

Looking up by Browsing Catalog

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Browse Parts Catalog. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. In the Choose Boat or Trailer list, select Boat or Trailer.

4. In the Model list, select your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer model.

5. In the Year list, select the model year of your Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

6. To narrow down the searchable list of parts, select which system from which you want to search for parts in the System and Subsystem lists.

7. In the Search on Part Description box, type to search based on part description.

8. Check Show Dealer Cost to view the Dealer Cost column.

9. Click Search. Browse through the parts available for the Ranger boat or Ranger trailer.

SEARCHING FOR SERIAL NUMBERS BY CUSTOMER Customers and dealers might not know the serial or hull identification number. The Product Warranty Customer Search will return the boat and trailer serial numbers for customers with valid warranties.

1. On the Main Menu, click Parts Ordering.

2. On the Parts Ordering menu, click Product Warranty Customer Search. (See Image 2.1 above)

3. In the search boxes, type the customer information. Click Filter. (See Image 6.1) The Ranger boat serial number will be listed.

4. In the Order# column, click the order number to view the Ranger boat and Ranger trailer Order Confirmation. (See Image 6.1)

5. On Ranger Order Confirmation page, click Return when you are finished viewing the information. (See Image 6.2)

Best practices:

x Do not discuss any information on the confirmation page with the customer.

x Do not copy and send order confirmation to the customer.

ADDING AND UPDATING DEALER MARGIN With iNet, dealers have the capability to add a margin to iBoat sales.

1. On the Main Menu, click iBoats. (See Image 1.2 above)

2. On the iBoats Ordering and Tracking System menu, click Factory—Dealer Margin Maintenance. (See Image 7.1)

3. Select the sales rep from the Sales Rep list and/or the dealer from the Dealer list. (See Image 7.2)

4. Select the Pricing Format, Model Year, and Material for the boat(s) in which you would like to add a price margin. Click Submit. (See Image 7.3)

5. Type the boat margin percent in the Boat Margin column and the option margin percent in the Option Margin. At the bottom of the page, click Update. (See Image 7.4)

Note: To update margins for all boats in the list, type the percentages in the Update All Displayed boxes. When entering margin percentages, 10% equals 10.00.

ADDING DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONS Dealers are able to add additional options and prices to boat orders in iNet.

1. On the Main Menu, click iBoats. (See Image 1.2 above)

2. On the iBoats Ordering and Tracking System menu, click Factory—Dealer Installed Options Maintenance. (See Image 7.1)

3. Select the sales rep from the Sales Rep list and/or the dealer from the Dealer list. (See Image 8.1)

4. Select the Model Year, Material, Category, and Model for the boat(s) in which you would like to add an option price margin. Click Submit. (See Image 8.2)

5. In the upper-right corner, click Add Records. (See Image 8.3)

7. To delete an option margin, click the delete icon next to the option you want to delete on the Dealer Installed Options Maintenance page. (See Image 8.3 above)

ORDERING WITH IBOATS Dealers can order and customize Ranger boats with the iBoats feature in iNet.

1. On the Main Menu, click iBoats. (See Image 1.2 above)

2. On the iBoats Ordering and Tracking System menu, click Factory and Dealer Boat Quote Maintenance. (See Image 7.1)

3. Select the dealer from the Dealer drop-down list. (See Image 9.1)

4. On the Boats Orders menu in the upper-right corner, click the Configure Boats button. (See Image 9.2)

5. If the order is for a customer, type the customer’s information in the Enter Customer Information page and click Next. If the order is for inventory, leave the customer information blank and click Next. (See Image 9.3)

6. In the Boat Ordering Model and Engine page, select the Pricing Format, Financing Terms, Model Year, Material, Model, and Engine from the dropdown lists. (See Image 9.4)

Note: The model year, material, category, and model cannot be changed after you click Next.

Option Selections

To select a color package:

1. Click Color Package Selection Section on the Boat Ordering Options page. (See Image 9.5)

2. Click your desired color package. (See Image 9.6)

4. On the Special Feature Color Maintenance page, select a Boat Cover or Power Pole color, if desired. Click Next. (See Image 9.7)

To select custom colors:

1. Click Custom Color Selection Section on the Boat Ordering Options page. (See Image 9.5 above)

2. Select your desired colors from the dropdown menus. Click Next. (See Image 9.8)

To select all other options:

1. In the Option Selection list, click the option you want to change. (See Image 9.5 above)

2. In the Select column, select the options you want to change or add. Click Next. (See Image 9.9)

To view the standard features for the selected boat model (as seen in Image 9.10 below), click Standard Features on the Option Selection page. (See Image 9.5 above)

To view the price list for the options available for the selected boat model (as seen in Image 9.11 below), click Price List on the Option Selection page. (See Image 9.5 above)

To add notes pertaining to the order, click Notes on the Option Selection page (seen in Image 9.5 above). Type the notes, then click Next. (See Image 9.12)

To review the order, click Next on the Option Selection page (seen in Image 9.5 above). The standard boat specs for the selected model can be seen below the order details. (See Image 9.13)

To continue with the order:

1. Click Next. (See Image 9.13)

2. Type a purchase order number in the Purchase Order box. Click Submit Order. (See Image 9.14)

Note: You will receive a confirmation email when the order has been approved and processed.

If you have pending orders, they will be listed on the screen. (See Image 10.1)

x To search for a specific record, use the search tools to filter the list.

x Click the column headings to sort the list by the headings.

x Click the view/print icon to view or print the pending order details.

x Click the pencil icon to edit a pending order.

x Click the delete icon to delete a pending order. Note: Pending orders will be automatically removed from the

list after 90 days.

x Click the copy icon to copy the quote.

x Click the submit icon to submit the pending order.

VIEWING SUBMITTED QUOTES You can view a dealer’s purchase history and track packages in iNet.

1. On the Main Menu, click iBoats. (See Image 1.2 above)

2. On the iBoats Ordering and Tracking System menu, click Factory—Submitted Quote Tracking—Rep Approved. (See Image 7.1)

x Click the column headings to sort the list by the headings.

x Click the view/print icon to view or print the order details.

x Click the copy icon to copy the order into a new quote.

x Click the pencil icon to request changes to an order. Note: Changes to orders that have begun production will

not be approved.

Requesting Changes to Submitted Orders

Changes to orders in production will not be approved. To add a change request:

1. Click the pencil icon on the Submitted Quote Tracking page to request changes to an order. (See Image 11.1 above)

2. On the Dealer Boat Change Orders page, click Add Records. (See Image 11.3)

Click the column headings to sort the list by the headings.

3. On the Dealer Boat Change—Additions page, type the changes you would like to request. Click Submit. (See Image 11.4)

Note: You will receive an email about the status of your change request.

To update a change request:
