Comment on a Blog PostHave your advocates read and comment on blog posts. Provide them with the link to the blog post and ask them to comment on it. You can even ask them to share the blog post with their social network by tweeting.

The first stage of this challenge should be comment on a blog. Here you will provide the URL for the blog post and provide a brief description of the content. If it’s not a blog Influitive integrates with (like Discus), you may want to add a corporate confirmation stage so you can verify that the comment was left.ADVOCATE ACTION: “I responded!”

Now that they’re read the blog post and commented, why not ask them to share the blog post with others? You can specify if the tweet should include a specific #hashtag, be a re-tweet, or mention your company. To make it easier for your advocate, provide the text for the tweet and now they are only one-click away from spreading the word to their social circles!

ADVOCATE ACTION: “Post to Twitter”

Video FeedbackThis is a great challenge to showcase any videos you have on a video sharing site like YouTube or Vimeo. In this challenge you can ask your advocates to view a video, comment and provide you with feedback on the content.

The first stage of this challenge should be a share link. Here you will provide the URL for the video and provide a brief description of the content. As a tip, you can skip this stage and paste the video URL in the challenge description. This may make the challenge stand out more. ADVOCATE ACTION: “I’ve watched the video”

Add a question stage to the challenge to reinforce the information shared in the video or ask for feedback. This is a great way to engage advocates and encourage learning.

ADVOCATE ACTION: Answer questions about the video

Adding a confirmation stage gives you (the admin) the opportunity to review the advocates responses to the questions asked in the previous stage. When an advocate has completed the previous stage, Confirmation Required will appear on the challenge for you to review the answers given by the advocate and once you’ve confirmed the answers then points will be awarded for the stage.

ADMINISTRATOR ACTION: “Answers Confirmed”

Success StoryAre you looking for those amazing and unique stories about your customers that could be eventually used for case studies? Ask you advocates to share their success stories with you. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to get great content! This type of challenge usually has several confirmation stages to help with the workflow of creating a case study.

Start this challenge off by asking some questions about how your advocates have used your product or service. Think of these as qualifying questions to determine if they have a story to share.

Review and approve their responses.

Once you’ve determined that you’ve got a good story for a case study, the next step is to schedule a call with the advocate. Once this has been done you can award them some more points and move them along to the next stage in the challenge.

You can award more points once an interview has been completed. The point of this step is to help you manage the workflow of obtaining a case study.

The final step is to have the case study published and give your advocate some big points for all their help!

Create a VideoIf you’re looking for a fun way to get testimonials, why not ask your advocates to create a video? Videos are fun and don’t take too much effort to do, but their impact is huge. Ask them to create a video then share the video location with you.

Start with the Advocate Workflow stage. This stage is an acceptance stage. The advocate will let you know that they are accepting the challenge, but because creating a video may take more time than the average challenge, it allows them to start the challenge and it will appear as “In Progress” until they complete the other stages. ADVOCATE ACTION: “I accept the video challenge!”

Once they completed their video, they’ll need to share the URL with you. Use a single line answer question stage to capture the location of the video.

ADVOCATE ACTION: “Check out my video!”

Review the video and approve. Don’t forget to provide feedback and thank them for their testimonial.

ADMINISTRATOR ACTION: Approve

Use the Refer a Prospect stage to capture information about the prospect and enter keywords for LinkedIn suggestions.

This stage allows your sales team to either accept or reject a lead and then communicates this back to the advocate. It can only be used if you have the Salesforce.com integration setup.

OPTIONAL: If you are not using the referral flow that is connected with Salesforce.com, you will want a corporate workflow stage. Once you’ve verified the prospect, give your advocate some more points.
