Introduction

This shawl is Tunisian crochet. You need to know the basics of Tunisian crochet, foundation row, border stitches, Tunisian simple stitch and bind off row. The basics of Tunisian crochet will not be explained in this pattern! All other stitches and increases will be explained.

This Shawl has been tested by a large number of people all over the world. I am grateful for all the help they gave me to improve my pattern. Especially I want to thank David Coleman who was the leader of the testing and a great help and mentor to me. You can see one of his shawls on this page.

Materials

13 skeins of 50 grams/112mtr hook 3-4 (I used Scheepjes Donna)7 skeins of color 16 skeins of color 2

Hook 5.0mm with a cable of 80-100cm. I used Knitpro with an 80cm cableHook 5.5mm with a cable of 80-100cm. I used Knitpro with an 80cm cableStitch marker
