The  Project  Informa-on  Model  in  the  asset  life  cycle?  

 The  document  provides  a  framework  and  approach  to  assist  an  asset  opera-ng  organisa-on  to  build  their  own  asset  informa-on  model.      The  PAS  defines  how  the  asset  informa-on  model  is  to  be  tailored  to  provide  the  opera-onal  data  to  inform  asset  management  decisions  in  support  of  their  organisa-onal  needs.      Where  the  asset  opera-ng  organisa-on  requires  new  construc-on  or  refurbishment  the  PAS  provides  a  framework  and  approach  to  integrate  the  data  from  a  project  informa-on  model  into  the  asset  informa-on  model.      The  PAS  defines  requirements  for  governance  and  for  ongoing  data  management.        Sponsor  –  CIC  on  behalf  of  the  BIM  Task  Group  Technical  Author  -­‐  BSRIA
