Biography
Mark B. Juckett, MD Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Quality Associate Professor Department of Medicine Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Madison, WI
Mark B. Juckett, MD, is the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Quality and Associate Professor of the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin, since December 2000. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky, he completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Juckett received board certifications in hematology and medical oncology. Dr. Juckett provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients with blood cancers and for those in need of blood and marrow transplantation. He has developed and/or assisted in the development of innovative treatment protocols for leukemia and methods of transplantation, and he has a strong interest in the improvement of health care delivery. With over 25 years of experience in blood and bone marrow transplantation, his clinical interests include acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndromes, other hematologic malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cancer immunotherapy. Dr. Juckett has authored/co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in his field. He was honored with the Best Doctors in America® award in 2011, 2013 and 2014 and was recognized as one of Madison magazine’s Top Doctors in 2012 and 2014.
