07.32am Train departs from Wrexham. We all get on train which leavesWrexham and arrives in Newport at 9.40am

Travel arrangements

We are all traveling from Wrexham to Newport South Wales by train on theWednesday and then getting a taxi to the Hilton Hotel. We will bereturning to Wrexham on Thursday.

Train Tickets have been purchased and the following times must beadhered to:

Wednesday 13 March

07.15am all students and staff meet at the train station in Wrexham.(This is Wrexham General station next to the football ground).

07.32am Train departs from Wrexham. We all get on train which leavesWrexham and arrives in Newport at 9.40am

We will then get a taxi to the Hilton Hotel in Newport.

Thursday 14 March

17.36 Train departs from Newport for Wrexham

20.01 Train arrives in Wrexham

It is expected that students will make their own way to Wrexham GeneralStation on Wednesday 13th morning and their own way home fromWrexham on Thursday 14th evening March.

Conference Accommodation and Food arrangements

All food and accommodation costs have been paid for.

Rooms have been booked for you at the Hilton Hotel, it is expected youwill be sharing the room with another student of the same sex to keep thecosts down.

All food will be provided.You have to complete the Medical Consent form and give it to me orask Student Services to give it to me. If you are under 18 years old youwill have to get your parent/carer to sign the Medical Consent form, if youare over 18, you can sign it yourself. Please return the Medical Consent forto me directly or via Student Services by Monday 4 March.

You will not be allowed to travel without this completed form.

The NUS are very good at designing these conferences and will have allthe debates and voting sorted out. There is a link HERE which takes you totheir Conference site. Please read it and take a look.

There is also an Awards Evening on the Wednesday night, so it should begood fun.

Please be aware that your attendance at this event has alreadybeen paid for and if you cannot manage to attend the Conference,you should tell me as soon as possible I will then be able tohopefully get someone to come in your place.
