This is a new degree addressing critical business needs in network security. Every business has a network presence, which exposes it to both deliberate and inadvertent attacks. This unique course develops networking and security theory and skills to secure the corporate network against threats.

You will gain hands-on experience taught by industry certified professionals using state-of-the-art equipment. The degree includes courseware by (ISC)2 and the Cisco Academy and can additionally lead to industry qualifications. You will also complete a research-based project where you will investigate practical problems in security systems.

An exit point is available upon completion of the Graduate Diploma. This course is accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).

This course has majors in networking, cloud computing and virtualisation. It draws on fundamental studies in computer hardware and software, networking, virtualisation, operating systems, network security, emerging computer technologies, programming for web applications, business and communication skills and entrepreneurship and innovations skills.

This online course will give you high-level security management and design skills for work in a range of areas.

Develop your skills in project management risk analysis, and security control and perimeter design. During this course you will learn how to ensure website, network and operational security, manage websites and servers and build highly secure firewalls.

This course will also teach you to identify technical security requirements, prepare security risk management plans and undertake complex design briefs.

This 40 hour instructor led course provides students hands-on experience with Windows 8. It provides guidance on installing, upgrading, and licensing for Windows 8. Students will work with Windows tools and services to determine the source of performance and reliability issues, and to troubleshoot various issues relating to networking, disk, file and folder management and working with Hyper V.

Throughout the course, students will use Windows PowerShell 3.0, and its graphical user interface (GUI) to configure and manage the system.
