ITS Training is to provide high quality computer training in the use of the standard software

supported by the ITS department.

ITS Training provides one-on-one and group training in a variety of computer applications

including e-mail, word processing, desktop publishing, data analysis, and spreadsheet and

database management. We provide opportunities to acquire information technology skills and

knowledge in the following computer applications, Introduction to Computers, Computer

Spaces, create and update information on the UP Staff Intranet (microsite) and using the

different University systems (UP Portal, Official Leave System, Performance Management and

are held in the ITS Training Lab (NW II Building, Room 5.8) on campus and consist of classes

and workshops. The classes are hands-on sessions with a small group of people (12) working

on PCs. The courses require registration.

The schedule is available at the end of November for the first semester of the following year,

and May for the second semester, and is sent to all Heads of Departments. The schedule is

also accessible through the ITS Web page and IT Service Catalogue. The course dates, course
