Simplifying Shape

• All shape can be generated from a combination of a basic block shape;

• Details will give drawings a more vivid and realistic appearance

• Guideline used to construct a shape will also be helpful to the reader of your drawing, as they provide extra visual information about shape.

Line Weight

• Line on the shaded side (in this case, on the right hand side) and underneath are made heavier

Shading• Usually, a shadow cast on the floor is drawn
