Stay competitive: anywhere, anytime insideBusiness Trade is an on-line tool that enables you to settle (international) trade transactions and to mitigate risk. It also allows you to initiate trade transactions and to retrieve information on their progress and status. Moreover, the ­application­simplifies­the­management­of­your­Documentary­Trade and Bank Guarantee transactions.

How does it work?InsideBusiness­Trade­provides­on-line­access­to­all­Docu-mentary Trade and Bank Guarantee products offered by ING. It consists of four separate products to which you can sub-scribe individually:•­ Import­Letters­of­Credit•­ Export­Letters­of­Credit•­ Documentary­Collections•­ Bank­Guarantees

When­you­select­a­product,­you­will­first­find­a­status­over-view­of­your­LCs­and­Documentary­Collections­or­your­Bank­ Guarantee orders. You can view, amend or delete existing trans­actions.­Extensive­filter­and­sort­options­simplify­your­search of transactions.

Letters of CreditA­Letter­of­Credit­(LC)­is­a­payment­method­that­allows­your company to minimise the risk on your import and export transactions worldwide.

Import LCWhen you are buying goods, you want to be sure of the quality of the products imported and the delivery deadlines.With­InsideBusiness­Trade,­you­can­apply­for­an­Import­LC­or­amend­existing­LCs.­Details­can­be­entered­quickly­and­easily­with the help of standard phrases and drop-down menus. You can­also­check­historical­data.­The­on-line­application­notifies­you of discrepancies, withdrawals and outstanding balances.

Export LCWhen you are selling goods, you want to be certain that the payment will be made in due time after having shipped the goods.

With InsideBusiness Trade, you can view or print advised Export­LCs­or­other­incoming­information.­You­can­also­create and print remittance letters. It is easy to track export LCs­via­the­‘Overview’­page.

You­will­find­details­such­as­discrepancy­notifications,­com-ments and payment information in the comprehensive detail screens.­Drop­down­menus­and­standard­phrases­speed­up­the time consuming process of creating remittance letters.

Documentary CollectionsA­Documentary­Collection­(DC)­guarantees­that­the­buyer­will not be able to take possession of goods before having paid­for­them.­DCs­rely­on­the­issuance­and­exchange­of­documents; banks act as agents on behalf of their respective customers by sending and releasing documents and collect-ing payment.

Import CollectionYou can view the general details of all your import collections on­the­‘Overview’­page.­Specific­payment­information­for­each incoming collection can be viewed by choosing the relevant item from the list.

Export CollectionYou can prepare and print cover letters for your documentary export collections. The use of standard phrases and drop down­menus­simplifies­the­creation­of­export­collection­transactions. InsideBusiness Trade supports both standard and direct documentary collections.

Bank Guarantees A Bank Guarantee enables you to provide certainty to your business­partner­that­he­will­receive­financial­compensation­if­you­are­unable­to­fulfil­your­obligations.­With­InsideBusiness­Trade, you can apply for standard and customised Bank Guarantees or amend issued Bank Guarantees.

You can enter details quickly and easily with the help of standard models, drop down menus and address books. New transactions can be created by using previously issued guarantees as a starting point. In the library you have an overview­of­all­available­standard­text­models;­specific­models­which you often use can be added to the library. By using the reporting function, you can pro-actively manage your portfolio.

InsideBusinessVia InsideBusiness, ING offers companies a web-based platform for financial services, products and information. Currently, InsideBusiness consists of specific modules for Trade, Payments and Financial Institutions.

(128­bit)­ensures­privacy­and­message­integrity.­Since­it­is­a fully HTML coded application, there is no need to install a Java run-time module. As a result, implementation is easy in any IT-environment.
