Clear Lam develops and manufactures both rigid and flexible packaging materials for perishable goods. Materials are used to package produce, baked goods, deli items, meat, cheese, dairy items, confections, personal healthcare items and detergents.

Clear Lam provides packaging materials in the following 3 categories:

1. Thermoformed Containers- Clear Lam offers a wide array of containers produced from Ingeo™ biopolymer. The containers are used extensively today throughout North America. Various performance characteristics have been developed to ensure product integrity throughout distribution conditions. Design, engineering and tool manufacturing is completed internally.2. Flexible Rollstock is produced in various formats. Ingeo™ plant-based materials have been developed for vertical-form-film-seal applications, lidding applications and horizontal wrapping applications. Clear Lam Ingeo™-based films provide similar performance characteristics to traditional petroleum based packaging materials. The lidstock seals through water, retains its seal integrity through high altitude distribution and maintains its easy opening feature for consumer convenience. Materials are available in barrier and breathable configurations.3. Rigid Rollstock is produced as a monolayer or multilayer structure. Various thermoformers and food processors utilize Clear Lam manufactured rollstock. The monolayer Ingeo™-based rollstock is used to manufacture traditional thermoformed containers. The multilayer Ingeo™-based rollstock is used to package a variety of meats, cheeses, pastas, egg rolls and other perishable food items.

Founded in 1969, Clear Lam Packaging is a multifaceted manufacturer of rigid and flexible packaging. Clear Lam employs more than 750 people in seven manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and China. Vertically integrated from design to manufacturing, Clear Lam produces hundreds of materials used to package perishable goods. The newest Clear Lam facility opened in Vernon, California to further support growth in the value-added produce markets.

Clear Lam expanded its product offering with the introduction of various rigid and flexible materials made from renewable resources such as Ingeo™ biopolymer. Our objective is to minimize environmental impact and maximize packaging performance. Clear Lam is playing a key role in changing the way packaging is made and utilized. Disposable tableware ILIP BIOThe ILIP BIO range is made from Ingeo™ biopolymer. This biopolymer is produced by NatureWorks LLC in the USA and is made from plants instead of oil. The material is compostable according to the European standard DIN EN13432. The ILIP BIO range is composed of clear cups with a capacity from 200cc up to 600cc and rigid plates with a diameter of 21cm and 16cm. This range is available in single units for the retail market and in bulk packing for the catering and food service market.

Deli & fresh food containers DELIP BIOThe hinged lid container and open tray range DELIP BIO is also produced from Ingeo™ biopolymer and is compostable according to the European standard DIN EN13432. The DELIP BIO range is composed of square and rectangular trays with a capacity from 250cc up to 1000cc for the packing of fresh salads, ready meals, cheese, char-cuterie, etc. and of open trays for the packing of fresh and chilled foods.

ILPA Srl is a privately owned Italian company, producing plastic packaging. It was established in 1962 in Bazzano. Today's production includes master rolls and cut sheet, disposable tableware, trays and containers for fresh food and deli food.The company exists of two divisions:• MP3, producing semi-finished products, master rolls and

World Centric’s Biocompostable product line includes Ingeo™ cold cups, deli, salad and food containers, soufflé cups, drinking straws, Ingeo™ lined coffee cups, soup bowls and hot coffee cup lids. We also offer trash/waste and shopping bags which are made from 10-20% Ingeo™. All these products are offered in a range of sizes and styles.

Our cups and bowls come with a “Biocompostable” logo and “100% compostable” printed on the side, to distinguish them from regular plastic products, and to facilitate sorting at municipal recycling or composting facilities.

Custom printing is available for most items, and we are able to design and manufacture custom products for food service and food packaging.

World Centric manufactures a wide range of Biocompostable products, including an extensive line of fiber based products made from sugarcane and wheat straw for the foodservice industry. World Centric will be introducing Ingeo™ lined agri-fiber products, to provide a more sustainable option for existing paper food service products.

World Centric has remained a strong advocate for environmental sustainability and social justice since its inception in 2004. We bring this focus to everything we do.

• Zero Carbon Footprint. We offset our total carbon emissions by working with two grassroots international environmental and social organizations to plant 175,000 trees in Cameroon and India.

• Give 25% of net profits. We gave nearly $40,000 in 2009 to worthy charities that contribute toward a more environmentally sustainable and economically viable way of life in India, Kenya and North America.

• Discount our products to schools (25%) and nonprofits (15%) and have done that since we started.

• Provide compostable lunch trays at cost to schools to replace Styrofoam trays with a total donation of over $126,000 in 2009.

• Regularly audit outsourced factories under Fair Labor Organization guidelines, to ensure fair wages and working conditions for workers.

• Power our office using renewable energy (a combination of wind and solar) and strive to be a zero-waste office.

• Provide $250 per month reimbursement for employees to take public transportation.

• Have hosted environmental and social justice speakers and film series since 2004 and regularly host other community events.
