England  is a country that is part of the united kingdom.. It shares land borders with Scotland to the north and Wales  to the west. The Irish Sea  lies north west of England, whilst the Celtic Sea  lies to the southwest. The North Sea  to the east and the English Channel  to the south separate England from continental Europe.

TOWER OF LONDON Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, known as the Tower of London, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London It was founded towards the end of 1066 as part of the Norman Conquest of England. Bodiam Castle It was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge , a former knight of Edward III , with the permission of Richard II , ostensibly to defend the area against French invasion during the Hundred Years' War . Of quadrangular plan , Bodiam Castle has no keep , having its various chambers built around the outer defensive walls and inner courts. Its corners and entrance are marked by towers, and topped by crenellations .´

London bridgeThe so-called London Bridge is a bridge that crosses England River Thames, between the City of London and Southwark.
