The Hennessey Venom GT is a hypercar manufactured by Hennessey Performance Engineering. It was revealed on March 29, 2010.

The Venom GT is based on a modified chassis Lotus Elise , is powered by a GM LS9 6.2-liter twin turbo , also used in the Corvette C6 ZR1 (no turbo). The car uses a transmission 6-speed Ricardo PLC. The car can reach a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.21 km / h) and could accelerate from 0-300 km / h in just 13.63 seconds. A control system programmable traction is responsible for energy production. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD, which is an acronym for "Computational Fluid Dynamics") tested bodywork and down force also help keep the Venom GT stable. Under different conditions of the road and racetrack, an active aerodynamic system displays an adjustable rear wing. An adjustable suspension system allows height adjustments for handling according to the conditions and the driving speed. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires also help put the power to the ground.

Hennessey manufactures engines at its facilities in Sealy, Texas. The engines are then carried in cargo planes Hennessey assembly plant near Silverstone, England where the Venom GT is built and tested. The purchaser of the Venom GT offers a driving direction one day and instructions for pilot tests Hennessey factory on a track in the UK or the US before delivery.

Hennessey plans to establish a network of distributors Venom GT in the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Australia and Asia. Production is limited to just 10 vehicles per year. The Hennessey Venom GT 750 horses worth $ 600,000, while the 1230 version of horses comes to $ 1,000,000.

The Venom GT Spyder is the convertible version of the Venom GT. After the singer Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) decided to order a Venom GT. Steven Tyler, approached Hennessey in the fall of 2011 and asked whether an open-top version could be created. After making the appropriate structural changes that added 14 kg, the company increased engine power to 1244 HP to maintain power / weight ratio 1 HP / kg. Tyler is the first driver five scheduled to receive his car by the end of 2013.

Hennessey Performance Engineering says the Hennessey Venom GT can reach 442 km / h (275 mph), leaving the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport , which is limited to 431 km / h (267.8 mph). Its production is limited to 30 units and a 5 World Record Edition is able to go to 435.21 km / h (270.49 mph), although this is not proven and record it still sustains the Koenigsegg Agera R with 440.00 km / h.

the Hennessey Venom GT has the Guinness Record Acceleration 0-300 km / h (0-186 mph) in just 13.63 seconds, beating the Koenigsegg Agera R which he did in 14.53 seconds and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport as it did in 14.6 seconds.

Also the 0-322 km / h (0-200 mph) in just 14.51 seconds above the Koenigsegg Agera R which made 17.68 seconds and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, who did it in 22.2
