Vice-Chancellor for Internationalization
The Vice-Chancellor´s office for Internationalization is responsible for
managing exchange and international student mobility programs,
programs for the exchange of teachers, projects related to international relations and diverse UJA
activities with institutions abroad.
The University of Jaen offers a wide range of academic studies, with more than 40 diplomas in the areas of Humanities and Educational Sciences, Experimental Sciences and Health, Social and Law Sciences, besides Engineering Studies. This offer coversboth Graduate and Post-Graduate Studies (official Masters & PhDs).

BUDDY PROGRAM
Free assistance for exchange students (Erasmus+ and non Erasmus+ international students)
Mandatory tasks1. Assistance in searching, or active search, for accommodation (temporary and final).2. Advice on travelling to Jaén (access by train, bus, plane and private car).3. Reception at the train or bus station in Jaén or Linares and accompanying to accommodation.4. Accompanying:
a. To the International Relations Office (C2-105 Campus Las Lagunillas) to initiate the administrative processing of documents necessary for the validation of participation in an international mobility scheme.
b. To the UJA Academic Coordinator’s Office (according to information and documentation previously provided in the International Relations Office).
5. Assistance in the enrolment process (including information about CEALM courses and deadlines) and guidance on the use of the Virtual University platform.
Complementary tasksI. Accompanying to ASUEJ, the International Student Association (C2-303 first floor, Campus Las
Lagunillas), to gain information and register for leisure activities.II. Tour of the Las Lagunillas Campus (or the campus in Linares): the registrar’s office (Secretaría in B5,
ground floor), library, study rooms, computer rooms, laboratories, cafeterias, etc.III. Tour of the city of Jaén (or Linares).
Spanish courses must be included in your academic agreement.
