The colour palette used is vey simple, only reds, whites and blues used.

The title is very big and stands out from the magazine making it easier to identify.

The cover actress is looking directly at the reader showing that she is addressing him/her. The name of the actress is written next to her making it easier to identify who is on the cover.

The dark blue banner is used to attract attention as it stands out from the rest of the magazine. The heading in the banner also stands out as it is the same as the title of the magazine, not like the other headings, this attracts attention.

The food is the only thing which consists of a lot of colour therefore it stands out the most and attracts attention.

The colour palette is very simple, only light colours used for text (except for the title).

The title written in black which creates a contrasting effect with the rest of the magazine and therefore attracts attention. It is also easy to see and establishes itself as a title.A simple, bold heading is used for the title of the main article, the fact that it is placed in the middle contrasts with the colours of the food making it stand out more.

The barcode is used stereotypically in the bottom corner of the magazine.

No gaze is used therefore the bride in not addressing the audience by her character. This makes the audience focus more on the dress and the magazine in general.

The colour palette is very simplistic. Only whites and greys used.

The magazine cover is not overcrowded with information which adds to the simplistic look also making the reader concentrate on the cover more and generate interest in what is inside of the magazine.

The title stands out as it is the only piece of text which is in white. It is also not too big but still grabs the viewers attention.
