01 – Introduction This manual is a guide for the correct, safe installation, use and maintenance of the PRER door. Compliance with the instructions set forth herein ensures the long life of the machine and respect for the safety guidelines prevents the most common work or maintenance-related accidents. The instructions in this manual do not, in themselves, guarantee safe working and do not release operators from their obligation to observe the safety code, legislation or local or national regulations. In the event of mislaying the instructions and maintenance manual, another copy that is specific for the door should be requested. It is essential and absolutely necessary to keep this manual with the door, in order to consult it at any time, or settle any doubts regarding its use. The manufacturer has no direct control over the operations, locations or maintenance of the door. Operators are responsible for using best safety and maintenance practices. Operators have the obligation to read and make sure they understand this manual before they use the door. Using the door with caution and adequate training not only protects the operator but also the persons who depend on his work. The information set out in the manual is valid at the time of publication. The photographs and drawings are generic; as a result, this information may be changed, due to the constant development and research carried out by INKEMA. In the event of discrepancy, please consult the technical department. This manual is an inseparable part of the door and must be provided together with it in the event of sale.

02.03 – Safety systems Passage photocell in lowering Descending safety band Gear Box…
02.04 – Maintenance The correct operation and long life of the door depend largely on the preventive maintenance work carried out. Advanced maintenance may only be carried out by the INKEMA technical service or staff authorised by the latter. This maintenance is carried out to ensure that the product conserves the safety and usage characteristics it had when it was first installed. All changes, repairs or manipulation of the product that fail to comply with these regulations will lead to the cancellation of the two-year warranty term and the liability of INKEMA for the product will automatically end. Continuous greasing, painting and vigilance is the best way to guarantee its performance for many years.
02.04.01 – Cleaning and vigilance. It is very important to perform general vigilance over and clean all the door elements, especially in dusty, corrosive atmospheres or places with condensation due to changes in temperature. Cleaning of the photocells and their reflectors must be checked, in accordance with the instructions in the maintenance chart. However, if, for reasons related to the environment or the conditions of the door, such checks and cleaning must be intensified, it is up to users to decide whether to reduce the maintenance intervals as they see fit to ensure that the door operates correctly.
02.04.02 – Greasing and adjusting transmission. The bearings must be greased as indicated in the maintenance chart. In addition, in doors with pinion and chain transmissions, it is important to check the tension of the chain and the clearance of the chain with respect to the cogged wheels, and that the unit is properly greased. As with the whole door unit, it is important to check the cleaning of this transmission unit, to detect potential damage or rust caused by corrosive or damp atmospheres, etc.
02.04.03 – Advanced maintenance. It is important to notify the INKEMA technical service for them to inspect the door and perform advanced maintenance on it with the frequencies given in the maintenance chart. The motor brake must be inspected, as well as the elastic coupling, bearings and axles and the respective adjustments made, including the changing of brake parts or whatever is necessary, depending on the results of the inspection.

02.05 – Instructions for use
02.05.01 – Foreseen use The high-speed door is designed for closing openings in buildings allowing access to persons or vehicles. It is not intended to be used for closing façades. The high-speed door must not be used for any other purpose. Before carrying out operations with the door, read this manual carefully. The supplier will not be held responsible for damage caused through inappropriate use.
02.05.02 – Inappropriate use The door must not be used in the following cases: Hang and/or lift objects, animals and/or persons using the door mechanism. Holding or pressing using the door mechanism. Changing the door or any part of it. Increase or reduce the speed of the electrically-operated doors.
02.05.03 – Conditions of use. Opening The high-speed door is operated using a manual push-button system. Normally 1 dark green button is positioned at each side of the door, to facilitate two-way passage. One button is fastened to the operating panel and the other is positioned on the other side of the door, in the most suitable place of passage. If any one of the two push buttons is pressed the door will open immediately.
Instructions manual PRER Inkema

The motor guard jumps
• Motor guard amperage low (turn the amp adjuster in a clockwise direction to raise the amps). Check with the motor board
• Faulty cabling - Disconnect the cables of U, V and W from the board and the motor.
Check the continuities of the cables with the multimetre at each end of the cables
Check that the cables are not crossed. Place the multimetre between the cables (there must be no continuity between them):
brown and black brown and grey black and grey
Check that there is no continuity between the following cables: earth and brown earth and grey earth and black
There must be no continuity between the motor housing and the motor connections U, V and W.
• Electro brake blocked - Check manually that the brake can be unblocked and turned with the motor lever - Check the connection of the hose with the 2x1 blue and brown cables (to see
whether the bridge rectifier operates without performing the manoeuvre, make a bridge connection in the lead or join the brown and blue cables in the control panel)
• Bridge rectifier crossed - Disconnect the grey cables from the rectifier and activate the brake manually while
the motor is operating, pressing the button on the panel.
