2007 to be a Center of Excellence by providing supports to individuals with intellectual

disabilities in our community.

It is our belief that individuals that are diag-nosed with mild intellectual disabilities can be-come productive members of society, with gain-ful employment and meaningful relationships without the aid of any paid support partners.

Inner-Vision Educational Center LLC, is a cen-ter that focuses on supporting transitions to complete independence from ID/DD waiver

programs for individuals with Mild intellectual disabilities. We are committed to building inde-pendence, providing job skills, social skills, and complete integration into mainstream society.

This service provides opportunities to de-velop group learning skills in a safe, sup-portive, small group setting. This service is subject specific with group focus on social, career, technology and life skills. !

We are committed to being a center of ex-cellence by providing person-centered sup-ports that fosters relationships of indepen-dence to individuals with intellectual dis-

abilities. Furthermore, we find and develop the gifts of each person, develop a vision that express these gifts, build a support group to make these ideas happen, and

build a community network of acceptance by having only the most highly qualified

and trained support staff. !At Inner-Vision Education Center, we are committed to the complete wellness of the

individuals and families we serve. Our pro-gram uses a multi-cultural systems ap-

proach by providing supports to individuals and training techniques for providers. Our educational curriculums focus on multiple-

intelligences to support individuals with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.

Inner-Vision Education Center, LLC Day Support Program provides structured day

placement and training for individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabili-

ties who may not be eligible for other training programs, but who could benefit from social skills, pre-vocational and instrumental activi-

ties of daily living training. Programs are center-based with a ratio of 1:4.

The goal of Inner-Vision Education Center Day Support is to:

• Utilize community supports and ser-vices such as educational programs, contract work, recreational centers and public libraries.

• Develop social, job-related, function-al, and life based skills for a higher employment rate.

• Teaching the latest innovations in computer technology

• Teach individuals effective ways to interact in his/her environment.

• Develop self-esteem and self-worth. • Develop healthy social relationships. • Experience work-based opportunities.
