What is the purpose?

Addressing shortcomings of the traditional double-blind review process

• Contribution to a more open and transparent scientific dialogue

• Support to authors & expert reviewers with a more diversified perspective on the manuscript

• Support to a ‘hybrid‘ model combining double-blind and open review

What type of event can be organised?

Duration, location, format and selection of papers for discussion are up to you! You can shape the „Commentathon“ according to your ideas.

Example 1Discussing papers as seminar task (group of 15 learners).• One session of 2-3 hours is dedicated to comments on

INNOQUAL papers• Alternatetively, students comment asynchronously across a

timeframe of 2 weeks & discuss face-to-face in a shorter session
