Oxygen therapy is indicated whenever there is a deficient

supply of oxygen to the tissues. Cellular hypoxia may be

due to:

• Reduction of the amount of oxygen or the partial

pressure of oxygen in the inspired gas

• Decrease in hemoglobin or chemical alteration of the

molecule

La oxigenoterapia es un procedimiento terapéutico

destinado a prevenir y tratar la hipoxia aumentando el

contenido de oxígeno (O2) en la sangre arterial a

concentraciones mayores que las del aire ambiente

(21%).

Oxygen therapy is a therapeutic procedure to

prevent and treat hypoxia by increasing the

concentration of oxygen (O2) in the arterial blood at

levels higher than ambient air (21%) concentrations.

La oxigenoterapia está indicada siempre que exista una

El oxígeno proporcionado por los diferentes métodos es seco, de

manera que es conveniente agregar vapor de agua antes que se

ponga en contacto con las vías aéreas, para evitar la desecación de

éstas y de las secreciones.

La necesidad de humidificación es muy crítica cuando el flujo de gas

proporcionado es superior a 5 L/min y cuando se han excluido los

sistemas naturales de acondicionamiento del aire inspirado, como

sucede en los pacientes intubados.

The need for humidification is very critical when the flow of

gas is provided at more than 5 L / min and in the case of

intubated patients where natural humidification of inspired

air is bypassed.

The oxygen supplied by the different methods is dry, so it is

convenient to add water vapor before contact with the

airways to prevent drying of these airways and the

secretions.

que une la mascarilla facial con el dosificador permitiendo el

Ofrece la máxima sujeción gracias a la pletina incorporada

permitiendo una doble sujeción en el puente de la nariz,

sus componentes. La gama de nebulizadores OXINOVA®de un solo

uso, está basada en el principio Venturi y permite la utilización de

aire u oxígeno como gas de arrastre.

Nebulizer is based on the Venturi principle and allows the

Nebulizer II is designed to dispense the medication with the

El Nebulizador II ha sido diseñado para dispensar la medicación con

el máximo de eficacia terapéutica y permite utilizar indistintamente

mascarilla o pieza bucal.

Sus características lo hacen indispensable para una cómoda y segura

utilización:

• Regulación del tamaño de partículas y del tiempo de

nebulización, para ajustarlo a las distintas terapias.

• Anti spill system alowing correct nebulization even when

the patient is in horizontal position wihtout the risk of any

liquid leakage.

• Minimum residual volume to get the most out of the

nebulized medication.

• Sistema antivuelco que permite la nebulización incluso en posición

horizontal, sin riesgo de derrame de líquido.

• Transparent Container with a scale from 2 to 10 ml. for

proper administration of the medication.

• Recipiente de nebulización transparente graduado de 2 a 10 ml
