Directors Message

LawrenceLawrence Lenzi, Organisation Head

It has certainly been an explosive first 6 months of 2015 for the IMD Organisation. We have seen the promotion of 4 Assistant Owners, 1 Owner Partner and a total of 5 Crew Leaders, which was all topped o by the export of 2 IMD power leaders to set the pace in our newest country – France.

Q2 saw the introduction and launch of our very exclusive S.I.R Elite group, which has also already seen 4 of its 18 members get promoted to Crew Leadership only 6 weeks following the first meeting. A special mention goes out to Jaeger Phips for breaking the IMD all time record of hitting Crew Leadership in only a 14 week period from the day she started. We have also had the privilege of hearing prestigious speakers such as Managing Director Mike Blaine, Vice President Mars Cowley, and Organisational Head Tony Otero. This group of game changers looks set for big things by the end of 2015 with the goal of 50% of its members promoted to Assistant Ownership.

Congratulations to Katie Black and Storm Marketing who broke their all-time weekly oce PB of 290 donors for their respective Charities. More recently the Norwich location broke its weekly PB by acquiring 127 donors in a week and has doubled in size. James Marshall and Magnum Marketing keep going from strength to strength in Home Delivery breaking their weekly Hello Fresh and Riverford combined weekly PB and also promoting a new Assistant Owner in Kandeepan Amaranath. As an Organisation we have been involved with pioneering and coaching the country into the ‘Hello Fresh’ campaign. Which has already acquired 29,480 customers in its first 18 months, and IMD being the first oce to break 200 residential sales in one week. Riverford also continue to be a successful and profitable campaign for all involved, with the last customer acquisition count coming in at 39,849 since February 2013.

The Old Street location continues to be a power house for the Organisation, with 4 trading oces at the forefront of driving the charities division in London to new heights, and also the HQ for tests in Home Delivery. Stephen Pindar helped with the launch and the subsequent success of the new Field and Flower campaign. Hello Fresh have a goal of generating £1,000,000 new customers in the next 5 years, we look set to grow big in all cities around the UK as a healthy, fresh, and long term partnership. Big recognition goes out to Stephen Pindar and S.P.O Global that are now trading as a business in the London Bridge location. Finally congratulations to Brian Martin for his promotion to Assistant Ownership.

What an amazing year it has been for the Home Delivery Division, which has also been pegged as the ‘Industry of the Future’, and is also inevitably the fastest growing division within the Appco group worldwide. The division is currently running at 18 oces across 4 dierent campaign, with around 250FR’s in the field every day, and now even more test products in the pipeline at the end of Q3!! This year so far has seen the breaking of EVERY SINGLE PB in all campaigns, even the Riverford weekly FR campaign which held for 9 months was broken in May by Dean in Bristol who finished on a 9.8 piece average for the week – 59 pieces!! Week ending 7th June saw the divisions biggest ever week in the division, with 2,094 Sales being done across Riverford, Abel and Cole (Weekly PB for them too – 401), Field and Flower (Weekly PB for them too – 299), and Hello Fresh (Guess what…weekly PB for them too – 1,428). We also held our first ever Hello Fresh masterclass, which had over 200 FR’s in attendance, along with the always very popular Patrick Drake, and the entire hello fresh management team. Patrick (chef) and Ed (MD) went on to praise everyone for their continued performance of both quantity and quality customers being acquired for the recipe box scheme, and made a very exciting announcement that there previous goal of acquiring 270,000 homes for delivery in the UK, has now been changed to 1 MILLION as a direct reflection of our current success, and what they now believe is a huge potential market.

Finally if we can replicate the 48 Leaders promoted in Q2 through the next 12 month, it means IMD will grow by 144 leaders by the end of the year. So quite simply we are again ready to repeat the process in Q3, forever getting closer to our ultimate goal of 400 FR’s by the end of 2015.

IMD Assistant Owner Promotion

What is your background? Before I joined the business I was a mechanic in my father’s business which I was doing for ten years but I wanted more so I decided to focus more on my goals and ambitions and do whatever it takes! I have never done marketing or sales before and was willing to learn new skills and face new challenges in order to become better. I always knew I would become successful I just didn’t know how until I met Innovation Marketing.

What challenges have you had and how did you over-come them?I have had challenges like everyone in any business that are building a career, positive

mental attitude is key, always put things in to perspective, train yourself to think in the right way. Separate business and personal life, understand the bigger your goals the bigger the challenges!

What are your future goals? My business goals are to pass on the opportunity for 2 people to run their own oces in the next 2 years, to get involved internationally with an oce in Miami, I would like to hit a new promotion and become an Organisational head in the next 3 years. My personal goals are, to have a Formula 1 weekend in Europa, Buy a London based property, and I would like to own and drive a new BMW M4

Your advice for someone that is aiming to progress to Assistant Owner/Assistant Owner Partner:● Stay Focused● Keep your eyes on the prize (the end goal)● Make the most of your Opportunity● Be Persistent● Work hard and give 100% all the time, and you will hit your goal● Remember short term sacrice (time) for long term gain (time, money, options)

It's being an incredibly proud and exciting journey for SPO Global so far and we are even more excited about what the future holds. I opened the

doors to my oce on June 1 at the Borough location as the managing director of SPO Global Marketing. Our rst week in Borough was lled with nerves, success stories, excitement, stories of bravery, leaders meeting on a sunny Saturday morning sunny on the rooop of the building and the list goes on.

We commenced week 1 with a new weekly PB of 136 pieces and also set a new daily PB of 42 pieces. We promoted our rst leader in the location Lynn Mathers(leader-Adam). Her promotion was an inspiring and deserved one. Not only did she show incredible bravery to continue in the eld to hit her criteria having fallen on her knee which ended up swollen, she also did it in style with a daily PB. We have new generations of sector leaders coming through- Marcus Williams has stepped up incredibly in his general approach and professionalism. Becoming more entrepreneurial and taking full advantage of his opportunity. Narikai ran a sector for

the rst time which exceeded its stretch goal and has become a natural high roller. Elysium crew (Tansu) keep going from strength to strength and

developing a crew of highrollers. Sandra and Zainab have adapted to the move with bags of enthusiasm and passion. e TMT crew (Andemer) consistently setting the pace in all areas. Lots and lots to be excited about and I have no doubt we are creating future entrepreneurs within SPO Global marketing.

Not forgetting our new administration-Marcelle who has adapted to her new role incredibly well. Our recruitment gures keep going upwards, SPO Global has increased in headcount and we expect nothing but excellence from her as we aim for the top. I remain incredibly proud of her achievements for SPO Global since we commenced trading.

On a personal note, I remember on day 2 whilst walking down Borough high street to have my lunch, gazing upwards at the shard when it dawned on me that I am the managing director of my own company in one of the biggest and busiest cities in the world. ere was the realisation that it's denitely worth it.

e challenge continues and we will continue to go from strength to strength. Something magical and amazing is happening in SPO Global Marketing. Watch out for new generations of entrepreneurs.

Describe Your Path To Ownership. I got involved in the business part time, whilst studying my business degree just to get some experience. My goal was to be an investment banker actually. I picked up sales quickly and building my team wasn’t a challenge either, so I gave the business a go. I started in the business by selling SKY, then AVIVA private medical insurance, others clients and then fundraising where I was then promoted to Ownership. What has been the greatest lesson you’ve learnt along the way? Play your own game! Don’t get distracted by others successes or failures - use it to motivate you to build your own story by following your own vision. Find the way by playing your own strengths What are your plans for the future? I plan to expand and to be involved in several countries including France, USA, Switzerland, Canada and Russia. In London I would love to build my company to 50 guys consistently and have 100 guys in the organisation by next year. Personally, I would love to get a new build near London riverside, get a luxury holiday for Xmas and save £100k. What is the Motto you live by? “Inspire others by your actions” - Impulse Marketing slogan.

would then just automatically know what to do and build my team for me. I eventually went back to basics and made sure that I had my team close, watching what I was doing and thinking out loud along the way. Once I hit Assistant Ownership I just kept doing the process over until I got promoted to Ownership. What has been the greatest lesson you’ve learnt along the way? along the way is not to take what you have for granted and to appreciate it rather than always looking at what you don’t have yet. What are your plans for the future? My plan for the future is to focus on developing the strongest people I can so that everyone in my organisation can make their dreams a reality. What is the Motto you live by? A winner is a dreamer that didn’t quit.

KATIE BLACK Storm Marketing London Charities

Describe Your Path To Ownership. It took me two & a half years from starting in the company to Ownership so not the fastest promotion. I had to learn to manage the ups and downs of building a team. I have had a lot of fun and learnt lots along the way, also I have been fortunate to travel to lots of places aswell. I have had to break a lot of comfort zones especially in public speaking. I always liked the

the income, but wasn’t sure if I could. When I made a decision to get promoted and believed I could, I watched and copied the best people and then I got promoted. What has been the greatest lesson you’ve learnt along the way? I have learnt to control my frustration and

I joined the business aer doing sales for ten years and not getting anywhere so I wanted more. My personal motivation of my daughter drove me into wanting more to secure her future Future Goals: In 10 years I would like to have oces in dierent countries so I have a good excuse to travel. I want 20 oces in my Organisation. Top Tips: Do more than the average Leader to get ahead - and Network. Getin a bit earlier, learn more, be excited and set the best example. Always look to train, develop guys in the field and invest in people.

I started in the business about 12months ago. Coming from a legal background and having represented clients in family and immigration matters I wasn’t keen on embarking on what I considered at the time a “sugar coated” business where the true facts weren’t apparent to me. I gave myself a period of two weeks to try it before concluding on my opinion and how wrong was my initial opinion. I realised I was not only having fun, but making money in the process. e penny dropping moment for me was when I was exposed to the business programme. On realising the potential to become a real success in a short period of time with the prospect of not having to spend a penny to invest in my business I concluded I would give myself 12months before any reassessment. 12months on I’m due to incorporate my own Marketing Company and have learnt a great deal about business and dealing with others. APPCO has given me a lot and will take all I can from this opportunity. My only advice: “Don’t judge it till you’ve tried it...success isn’t borne overnight”

What is your background? Worked in hotel industry for 7 years from porter to manager. Did a master’s degree in international purchasing in French, English and German at the University of ….. in paris and nal year as an exchange student in Bath. What challenges have you had and how did you over-come them? Losing a crew leader and 70% of my crew within a two weeks period. I decided to network and repeated the same I have done so far to get back to 12 people. I set the pace and understood it’s a numbers game. What are your future goals? • Always try to understand “why” your owner is taking a particular decision. e process will help you get results! • You are the most important person in your team; make sure you know your breakdown and hit it every week. Your mood reects your team’s mood. • Constantly recruit. By training people, you need to set the right example every time. e best way to learn is to teach others. • Make yourself compliable. Your team should nd it easy to beat you. Your advice for someone that is aiming to progress to Assistant Owner/Assistant Owner Partner: Dene your core values, so that people in your team can identify them. Always set the pace. Keep training and recruiting.

What is your background?I did quite a lot, I was a Personal Trainer, used to run my own (successful) adult football team in the Sunday League and did children tness coaching, but I chose to move to Norwich for the business. What challenges have you had and how did you over-come them? Leaving my children back in London was a big challenge, but I overcame it by speaking to them as much as I can and seeing them in weekends. Adjusting to the demographics of a new city took a bit as well, but I understood the people and it’s all about what they are into, not what you are into, and about getting into what they are into. I faced some problems with recruitment. I faced that by PRing a lot and, by example, teaching my team to do the same. What are your future goals? • Purchase a Nissan GTR aer rst year in Ownership • Open an oce in Docklands, London • Send my mom home to Jamaica • Take my business international • Africa, France, America

e 2 day event kicked of with seminars to up-skill the S.I.R. Elite members with great speakers within the Organisation and High Rolling Owner from Netherands, the meeting was followed by a superb 3 course private dinner. e following day was activity driven, with an “It’s a Knockout” karting event. Overall, it was a meeting to remember, and we have already seen 3 crew leader promotions from the S.I.R Elite Members in Barndon Sloan, Jaeger Phipps and Pia Bjorn.

e S.I.R Elite Club is an exclusive, invitation only leaders’ club for people who are consistently showing the qualities of an owner in their everyday activities - ese Leaders demonstrate a great work ethic, giving more than 100% every single day, setting the pace, and constantly increasing sales standards. Our Organizational goal is simple we want to see every member of the S.I.R Elite beneting from our experience and our past mistakes, putting them on the fast track to Ownership.

‘Aer working for years in management positions waiting for the next promotion that never happened I appreciate the performance based promotions in this business. Being a member is a privilege and shouldn't be taken for granted. We get more information and time with people who have achieved more in this business and being a part of a highly competitive group pushes all of us individually to perform to a higher standard.’

Being part of the S.I.R Elite is a privilege and something that makes me proud to be apart of- it shows recognition of my potential and has given me access to a network of like minded people and an opportunity to achieve my goals faster’

‘What I love about the Industry is the platform set in place that allows you to achieve a title (org head/VP) and the nancial freedom that comes with it.Being a S.I.R member is amazing as you are seen as someone who will reach ownership, it gives me condence the company believes/ is behind me all the way’

‘My favourite thing about the business is the people I work with and the fantastic atmosphere they create in the oce and the eld. I knew when I had my observation day that this was something I wanted to be part of. When I pitched Lawrence to go the rst SIR elite meeting I thought I had no

chance aer only being in the business 5 weeks. When my name was read out in morning meeting I was absolutely thrilled. Its a huge vote of condence that I have what it takes to be a successful owner sooner rather than later and the great information we are given will help me do that’.

What I love about this business, is you can come from any background, with or without experience and still have just as much chance in building your career as anyone. Being part of S.I.R ELITE is an honour and a great responsibility. To have an opportunity to learn and get information from masters of their own fortune, who

started the same place as you, all for free is amazing!

e fact there is so many other people from all dierent backgrounds and cultures that have a simalre goal and belief that it can be achieved makes you really appreciate how lucky we really are . I had the chance of p ring a girl who used to work for one of the oces in London ages ago and le because she wasn't

ready ( she was telling me to hold on to my opportunity and really go for it as aer 10 years of leaving she had never worked with the quality of individuals she met here. ) let inspire others by been.

Lachlan freeman Arcadians Coming from a construction background made me instantly fall in love with the opportunity as progression in that industry is very limited and slow I really enjoy working with young ambitious and intelligent people who jump at the opportunity to give you help and grow as a person can't wait

for the rest of the journey

Crew Name: ΩmegaComing to my rst appointment and with no sales experience, I decided to go for it and I will never regret it.is business is one of the best opportunities I could get cause it can provide you not only for the future, but if you work hard, you can make

your dreams come true. at's what I love about it. I feel privileged to have that knowledge and all the fun part that comes with it.I wish everybody could be as lucky as I feel.

Laser Marketing- is focus on results now to make a dierence in the future. Amazing opportunity which is given 2every1 who thinks dierently.

Fortitude Marketing, Coming from a background in politics it was refreshing to see that there was a place in which people could have fun whilst developing and learning, and progress through the stages to become a business owner and work for yourself. It is an absolute privilege to be part of

this group of individuals, the passion and dedication shown to succeed in the business is a constant inspiration. e extra time and information imparted on us by owners with years of experience is invaluable, telling us of their mistakes so as not to make the same ones.

I've never worked in an environment such as this! Working among some of the most experienced and motivated. e information we receive is free and we're learning how to be successful millionaires from successful millionaires. e growth is non-stop and so are the success stories. Mine will be one of them!

My favourite thing about the business is the progression and opportunities that come alongside it. Regardless of your background or age, hard work is always appreciated and inuenced. Everyone is here to help each other grow and achieve their dreams.

I love this buisness as it is a kick start in life for those who were not sure were they were going or what they were doing. is job has allowed me to experience so many aspects of life which I had never encountered and develop life skills which will benet me in later life. What really excites

me about this buisness is the progres-sion and monetry possibility. Coming from a back ground were my family are in buisness and i wanted to study art it has given the black sheep of the family the oppertunity to compete with the rest of my family both intellectually and with the promising chance of nancially. at is why I believe this is the best buisness to be in if you are hard working and determined.

To me this business is a mind game. e only thing stopping you from your promotions is yourself so what helped me (and my mentality) was… • Enjoying the challenges. e more you get and the quicker you bounce back from them, the quicker you progress. • Before blaming others or circumstances, question yourself, ‘how could I have adapted better? Could I have done something dierent?’ • Don’t take yourself too seriously. Have more fun, genuinely care for the team you are working with, their goals, and enjoy the journey. Short term I want to go to France as an Owner, visit the Caribbean’s and take my family to New Zealand. Long term I want to open up my own charity association and take care of my mum’s retirement.

AARON CALLABYI started the company when I was living in Northampton. I had only one full time job previously, as a data admin for a cheque processing company. I wanted to do a job that wasn’t going to be solely oce based, and in marketing. I commuted to and from London for 3 months and saved enough to move to a place in London. Top tips: • Know the guys in your crew, put their goals in line with yours. • Have a great team unity. • Have a goal, stick to it and plan according to it. Future Goals: • Move to Brighton in the next year. • Have a holiday home in Italy. • Emirates Box ( Arsenal Football Club).

JOSEPH TOLUWASEBefore joining this business, I was working for a B2B sales company in thehospitality sector for over a year. My future goals are: 1. To buy a brand new BMW 2 Series 2. To buy my mother’s family home in Islington 3. To be promoted to owner partner before the Appco 2015 rally. 4. Open my rst marketing oce in New York by the end of 2015. Top Tips: • Have a goal that is greater than all obstacles before you. • Be a S.W.A.N • No matter what challenges you are facing always remain charming and logical.

KAREEM WILSONBefore starting I was studying ‘Creative writing and Film & Cinema technologies’ with the aim of becoming an author, a goal of which i still intend to hit. I was looking for a job because I needed the money and ended up applying for this because I saw an advert about having presentation skills. What captured me was the fun element, but what I love about being here is the progression opportunity (I always think I’ve been quite ambitious and like wearing a suit). My primary personal goals for the future is to spend Christmas break (24th Dec. 2015 -1st Jan. 2016) in Switzerland for my birthday because I’ve never really done anything special or memorable for my birthday and I wanted to reward myself. Business wise, I want UK-based oces in Riverford, HF and Field & Flour and I want to open a HF oce in Holland. Top tips: • Develop a bullet proof mentality to challenges and learn to problem solve. • Have fun, enjoy the ride and understand it’s a journey. • Have a goal. It doesn’t matter what it is or what others think of it as long as it 100% means something to you.

PIA BJORNMy background is in hospitality. I'm a cocktail bartender and I have a degree in hospitality management. I managed nightclubs in Finland where I'm from and I loved it. I decided to leave that industry because there is very little progression and you will not be rewarded according to your level of eort unless you own the place. Top tips for getting promoted: 1. Want it more than others want it. What you're working towards needs to wholeheartedly consume you each day 2. Work harder at xing your weaknesses than the average person will and be willing to x the areas you think are not your weakest areas. 3. Educate yourself outside of this business. YouTube, books, magazines etc are endless sources of information you can use to develop yourself. 4. Don't expect it to be handed to you. Nothing worth having comes easy but can make it look easy. 5. e fact that you are strong enough to be dierent, determined and you dare to question the stagnant patterns of doing it the same way always isn't being selsh, but it's the courage and the choice that frees up time and your presence for seless acts. It will come with a price and that is the howling of the whiners. 6. Don't be jealous of others success, learn from them and beat them at their own game. Future goals: Stage 5 by September. Promote 3 people to stage in my rst year of business. Do what's in my power to help those around me achieve their goals. Buy my dad a new boat, my mum an annual holiday and myself a pair of Manolo Blahniks.

BRANDON SLOANBefore starting with Innovation Marketing I was in the Retail/Customer Service industry, I worked on salary plus commission, therefore I had a good understanding how the payment structure worked, how hard you work determines your outcome in terms of progression and nancial status. Tips Tips: Sales- being persistent within the oce, and when customer facing in order to become more protable with good customer service skills. Team Building – Having a strong relationship with your team members is key to progression as they will push you through. Future Goals: My Business Goals: I would like to be invited to ‘Future Owners Meetings’ and visit more locations in the UK involved in the Home Delivery division. My Personal Goals: I would like to hit Assistant Owner criteria by the end of 2015 and move into a new oce location by January/February 2016 running an oce within the Home Delivery division.

STEPHANIE NICOLEI found the advert on the internet, applied & was successful. I then saw ways to build a career. I enjoy communicating with people and the business looked easy with no seniority policy. Future Goals: Open oces and own properties in multiple cities: Cyprus, Germany, Switzerland and London. Top Tips: Set a timely goal and inspire people. Get observations excited how much money they can make. Set the pace and enjoy working and being together.

SAMUEL OLANIYII was unemployed for about a year. I thought I was looking for a job but I really wasn’t, when I was personally recruited by my younger sister who was then working in the Home Eciency Division. I was immediately turned on to the Business Development Programme and soon came to realise that this was the same company that my best friend had recently been promoted in. From then on, my mentality had been, if he can do it, so can I! JAEGER PHIPPSDon't be afraid of a retrain- as a leader you can get caught up with training and ultimately lose or pick up small habits that eect your sales. Go on a retrain with your leader and they'll remind you of what you was or wasn't doing when you were high rolling. Condence- trust your leader, trust the systems and have complete belief that when you apply what you've learnt you’re going to get a result. Trust in your abilities 100% and get good at building your own condence by reminding yourself of what you have achieved. Top Tips: • Get good at balancing your time with yourself and your guys. • When it comes to your guys, whether it's planning, having a meeting or just having a general conversation - always have in mind the type of relationship you want to create. Future Goals: • Get promoted to stage 5 by October • Move to Buckhurst Hill by November • Ownership by February 2016 • Open 3 oces within 5 years of ownership
