Potential Partnership Path • Start with small, well-defined projects, working collaboratively, to establish relationships

• NSERC Engage $25K Government Grant with one professor

• OCE VIP Voucher with another professor

• $20K from Government, matched by $5,000 from industry partner in cash; 6 – 12 month project, can add

CONNECT as well

• Upon award of NSERC Engage & OCE VIP, consider MITACS projects to deepen the

collaboration and explore larger research questions

• $15K Accelerate Grants 50/50 split with industry

• $80K Cluster Grants ($44K MITACS / $36K industry)

• Moving forward, choose from Government programs such as NSERC Engage Plus or CRD, OCE

VIP II Grants

• NSERC Engage Plus

• $12.5K from Government, matched by $12.5K from industry partner in cash; 6 month project
