EtherCATCONNECT ANY ETHERCAT DEVICES YOU WANTAll CNCs of the PA 9000 series feature an Ether-CAT Master. This allows communication of, in principle, all EtherCAT slave devices with the PA CNC.
PA EDIDEVELOP YOUR OWN PLUGINSThe usage of manufacturer dependent functio-nality requires manufacturer specific software adaptation of related CNC functions and/or field bus communication. To allow amendments and changes in PA’s CNC kernel we designed the PA EDI (EtherCAT Device Interface). The PA EDI allows both, Power Automation and any potential user, to develop own plugins for
adaptation of peripheral devices. For program-ming the EDI plugins there is no proprietary development platform needed. Standard Visual Studio is sufficient.
PA HMI CREATE YOUR OWN HMI ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS AND REQUIREMENTSThe PA Standard HMI offers you all relevant functions for an easy and efficient operation and programming of your machine tool. PA COMPILE CYCLES INTEGRATE AND PROTECT YOUR OWN KNOW-HOW!It has never been easier to integrate own machine expertise into the CNC! As a machine tool builder, the PA compile cycles allow you to integrate your own routines using DLLs into the real-time kernel of the PA CNC. Unlike other CNC manufacturers, you need not share your know-how but operate independently. You do not even need a special development environment as PA compile cycles are written in the program-ming language C.
PA SOFT PLCADAPT THE CNC TO YOUR MACHINE EASILYThe PA soft PLC IEC 61131-3 is fully integrated into the PA CNC systems. It is highly efficient and has all of the features that are required for a machine tool. The development system is easy to operate and even complex projects can be easily mapped.
3D SIMULATION AND REAL-TIME COLLISION DETECTIONMACHINE COLLISIONS BELONG TO THE PAST All 3D data of the real machine tool can be read in using an XML file. This allows 1-to-1 simulati-on of the process and 100 % collision monitoring in real time. This completely prevents machine collisions, thus sparing expensive repair and reducing associated downtime to an absolute minimum.
PA DRY-CNC NO SIMULATOR, BUT A REAL CNC!The PA Dry-CNC is a complete CNC with full functionality. With the PA Dry-CNC you can fully configure and test your machine or use it for training purposes.
